ERRATUM.—In the Schedule to the Proclamation dated the 25th day of August, 1927, and published in Gazette No. 62, page 2781, of the 1st day of September, 1927, taking land for the purposes of a road in Block XIV, Pakawau Survey District, Collingwood County, read “Section I” for “Section 1” in the description of each area.

Additional Land at Paparoa taken for the Purposes of the North Auckland Railway.

A PROCLAMATION.

WHEREAS it has been found desirable for the use, convenience, and enjoyment of the North Auckland Railway to take further land at Paparoa, in addition to land previously acquired for the purposes of the said railway :

Now, therefore, I, General Sir Charles Fergusson, Baronet, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in exercise of the powers and authorities conferred on me by sections twenty-nine and one hundred and eighty-eight of the Public Works Act, 1908, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for the purposes above mentioned.


SCHEDULE.

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land :—

0 2 27·8 Part of Allotment N.W. 41, Paparoa Parish.

Situated in Block XII, Matakoе Survey District, Otamatea County. (S.O. 24157, blue.)

In the North Auckland Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked W.R. 39238, deposited in the office of the Minister of Railways at Wellington, and thereon coloured yellow.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 29th day of August, 1927.

Allocating Land reserved and taken for a Railway to the Purposes of a Road in Hutt County, near Haywards.

A PROCLAMATION.

WHEREAS the land described in the Schedule hereto forms part of land taken for the purposes of the Wellington-Napier Railway, and it is considered desirable to allocate such land to the purposes of a road :

Now, therefore, I, General Sir Charles Fergusson, Baronet, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by section one hundred and ninety-seven of the Public Works Act, 1908, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto shall, upon the publication hereof in the New Zealand Gazette, become a road, and that the said road shall be under the control of the Hutt County Council, and shall be maintained by the said Council in like manner as other public highways are controlled and maintained by the said Council.


SCHEDULE.

APPROXIMATE areas of the pieces of land : 34·78 perches and 7·79 perches.

Portions of railway reserve (Sections 178 and 196, Hutt District), Block IV, Belmont Survey District, Hutt County. (S.O. 2180.)

In the Wellington Land District; as the same are more particularly delineated on the plan marked W.R. 39351, deposited in the office of the Minister of Railways at Wellington, and thereon coloured blue and yellow.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 30th day of August, 1927.
