Resuming Land in Tiger Hill Survey District, Otago Land District, for Sites for Racemen's Cottages.

A PROCLAMATION.
WHEREAS by section one hundred and thirty-five of the Land Act, 1924 (hereinafter termed “the said Act”), it is, inter alia, enacted that the Governor-General may by Proclamation resume possession of any land leased under Part V of the said Act, or under the corresponding provisions of any former Land Act, which in his opinion is required for any public purpose:
And whereas the land described in the Schedule hereto forms part of land held under small grazing-run lease from His Majesty the King, issued under Part V of the Land Act, 1908, and dated the eleventh day of December, one thousand nine hundred and twelve:
And whereas, in the opinion of the Governor-General, the land mentioned in the Schedule hereto is required for a public purpose—that is to say, for sites for racemen’s cottages:
Now, therefore, in pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon me by section one hundred and thirty-five of the Land Act, 1924, and of all other powers and authorities in anywise enabling me in this behalf, I General Sir Charles Fergusson, Baronet, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that I hereby resume possession of the land mentioned in the Schedule hereto for the public purpose hereinbefore mentioned, the same being part of the land held under small grazing-run lease as aforesaid.
SCHEDULE.
ALL that area in the Otago Land District containing by admeasurement 2 roods 35 perches, more or less, being Section 4, Block X, Tiger Hill Survey District, and bounded as follows: Commencing at a point on the north-west boundary of Section 3, Block X, Tiger Hill Survey District, 158·7 links distant from the northern corner of said Section 3; thence towards the south-east by said Section 3, 674·4 links; towards the south-west by Run 223c, 345° 42′ 30″, 145·7 links; and towards the north generally by said Run 223c, 72° 28′ 30″, 291·7 links, 65° 10′, 279·5 links, 118° 31′ 30″, 132·4 links, to the point of commencement: be all the aforesaid linkages a little more or less. As the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 8/9/103A, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon bordered red.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 29th day of August, 1927.

Additional Land taken for the Purposes of a State Forest in Block XIV, Kaeo Survey District.

A PROCLAMATION.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1908, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, I, General Sir Charles Fergusson, Baronet, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the additional land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for the purposes of a State forest; and I do also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the tenth day of September, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-seven.
SCHEDULE.
APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land taken: 352 acres 3 roods 17 perches.
Being portion of Sections 8 and 9 of Blocks XIV, Kaeo, and II, Omapere Survey Districts, comprised in C.Gs. No. 375c and 376c (Auckland R.D.). (S.O. 24153.)
In the North Auckland Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 68774, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, in the Wellington Land District, and thereon coloured red.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 29th day of August, 1927.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1908, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, I, General Sir Charles Fergusson, Baronet, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the additional land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for the purposes of a road; and I do also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the tenth day of September, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-seven.
SCHEDULE.

Being portion of Allotment 216, Mangatawhiri Parish (Auckland R.D.). (S.O. 22489.)
Situated in Block I, Survey District of Maramarua; coloured red.
In the North Auckland Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 57781, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works, at Wellington, in the Wellington Land District, and thereon coloured as above mentioned.
