NEW ZEALAND.—SOUTH ISLAND.—BLIND RIVER.
Erection of Beacons.—Prohibited Anchorage and Trawling Area.
Position: Front beacon—Lat. 41° 39′·5 S., long. 174° 10′·2 E.; rear beacon—lat. 41° 39′·7 S., long. 174° 09′·6 E: Chart 695.
Details: Two white triangular shaped beacons, each 20 ft. high, have been erected in the above positions, bearing 246° when in transit, and mark the general lead of a telephone cable landing at Blind River. Anchorage and trawling is prohibited within the area enclosed by two lines drawn one mile on each side of, and parallel to, transit line, and extending 17 miles from front beacon.

Incorporated Societies Act, 1908.—Declaration by the Assistant Registrar dissolving a Society.
I, HAROLD BEANLAND WALTON, Assistant Registrar of Incorporated Societies, do hereby declare that, as it has been made to appear to me that the Maungatoroto Lawn Tennis Club (Incorporated) is no longer carrying on its operations, the aforesaid society is hereby dissolved in pursuance of section 28 of the Incorporated Societies Act, 1908.

Department of Industries and Commerce.—Board of Trade (Gas) Regulations, 1924.
IN exercise of the powers conferred upon us by clause 26 of the Board of Trade (Gas) Regulations, 1924, we, the undersigned, two of the Gas Referees duly appointed under the said regulations, acting pursuant to clause 10 thereof, do hereby determine that on and from the 1st day of August, 1927, until further notice, the fees which shall be payable by gas companies for the examination and testing, with or without stamping, of meters, shall be as stated hereunder:—

(c) For meters with a measuring capacity of more than 100 cubic ft. per hour—

For each additional 100 cubic ft. or part thereof .. 0 9 1 0
Provided that, for the purpose of computing the foregoing fees, the measuring capacity shall be taken as being that indicated on the meter by the maker:
Provided also, that where a company’s meter-testing room is more than three miles from the headquarters of a Gas Examiner or an Inspector of Meters, the following additional fees shall be payable by the company—
(a) Where a company’s meter-testing room is within ten miles of the headquarters of a Gas Examiner or an Inspector of Meters, ten shillings per day or portion of a day that is spent by the Examiner or Inspector in testing the company’s meters.
(b) Where a company’s meter-testing room is not within ten miles from the headquarters of a Gas Examiner or an Inspector of Meters, twenty-five shillings per day or portion of a day that is spent by the Examiner or Inspector in testing the company’s meters and in travelling to and from headquarters.

Land for Lease under Part XIV of the Native Land Act, 1909, and its Amendments, and the Regulations thereunder.
WRITTEN tenders are invited for the lease for twenty-one years from 1st July, 1927, of the property known as Section 3, Block I, Ngamatea Survey District, containing an area of 168 acres. Tenders close at 3 p.m. on Friday, 26th August, 1927.
Tenders should be on the proper form, and should be accompanied by a deposit equal to the first half-year’s rent plus cost of lease fee, &c. (£3 19s.).
Upset rental, £27 6s.
The incoming lessee will require to make the usual declaration of qualification and to pay, within seven days of the acceptance of his tender, the amount with which the section is loaded for improvements (£2,318).
Improvements consist of dwelling, outbuildings, stockyards, fencing, grassing, &c.
The property is now in the occupation of Mr. Alex. Patrick O’Neill, Ore Ore, Raetihi, whose lease has expired.
