Lands in the Auckland Land District forfeited.

Department of Lands and Survey, Wellington, 6th August, 1927.

NOTICE is hereby given that the leases and licenses of the undermentioned lands having been declared forfeited by resolution of the Auckland Land Board, the said lands have thereby reverted to the Crown under the provisions of the Land Act, 1924, and the Discharged Soldiers Settlement Act, 1915, and amendments.

Education Reserves in North Auckland Land District for Lease by Public Auction.

North Auckland District Lands and Survey Office,
Auckland, 9th August, 1927.

NOTICE is hereby given that the undermentioned education reserves will be offered for lease by public auction at the North Auckland District Lands and Survey Office, Auckland, at 10.30 o’clock a.m. on Tuesday, 27th September, 1927, under the provisions of the Education Reserves Act, 1908, and amendments, and the Public Bodies’ Leases Act, 1908.

SCHEDULE.
NORTH AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT.

Manukau County.—Suburbs of Weymouth.

Section 6: Area, 4 acres 2 roods 32 perches. Upset annual rental, £11 5s.
Weighted with £35, valuation for improvements consisting of fencing and grassing.

Section 24: Area, 8 acres 2 roods 10 perches. Upset annual rental, £17 10s.
Weighted with £10 valuation for improvements consisting of fencing.

Section 6: Level land in pasture. Soil dark loam of good quality on clay subsoil. Some 20 ft. to 30 ft. above sea-level. Approximately quarter of a mile from the beach.

Section 24: Level to undulating land; about 7 acres in grass (worn out) and balance scrub, &c. Soil dark loam of good quality on clay formation. Quarter of a mile from beach. Small spring on property.

Weymouth is situated three miles from Manurewa Railway-station by metalled road, and is a popular seaside resort on the Manukau Harbour.

Rodney County.—Omaha Parish.

Section 114: Area, 70 acres. Upset annual rental, £3 10s. Weighted with £190, valuation for improvements consisting of 80 acres clearing and grassing and 60 chains good fencing.

Situated on the Pakiri-Wellsford Road, about eight miles from Pakiri Post-office and School. Country broken and undulating, with no level land. Soil is light clay, resting on clay formation. Well watered by springs and creek. Elevation 800 ft. to 1,100 ft. above sea-level.

Hobson County.—Arapohue Parish.

Section 1A: Area, 27 acres 1 rood 39·4 perches. Upset annual rental, £11.

Situated at Arapohue, on the main road between Toka Toka and Mititai, access being from the latter town by formed cart-road, unmetalled. About 5 acres fair pasture, mostly paspalum, with little fescue, 4 acres heavy tea-tree and cabbage trees; balance swamp, mostly in tall fescue. Soil is black loam. Poorly watered, only small tidal creek. Each side of the road through the section is fenced. No buildings.

Hobson County.—Kopuru Parish.

Lot 18 of Allotment 50: Area, 1 rood. Upset annual rental, £2 10s.

Lot 19 of Allotment 50: Area, 1 rood. Upset annual rental, £2 10s.

Lot 20 of Allotment 50: Area, 1 rood. Upset annual rental, £2 10s.

Lot 21 of Allotment 50: Area, 1 rood. Upset annual rental £2 10s.

Sections are situated at Te Kopuru, fronting the main road and backing on to the Domain. Less than a quarter mile from the wharf. Level land all in tea-tree scrub, with gorse getting a hold. No improvements. Suitable for residential purposes.
