shown on L.T.P. 1499 and 76N, Motuhaku Block; and that such rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and shall be payable yearly on the 1st day of October in each and every year during the currency of such loan, which will be for a period not exceeding 36½ years, or until the loan is fully paid off.

Loan of £2,000.

That, for the purpose of providing the interest and other charges on a loan of £2,000, authorized to be raised by the Wairarapa Electric-power Board under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of providing additional funds for works, buildings, land, and equipment necessary in connection with the generation, distribution, and utilization of electric energy within the Wairarapa Electric-power District, the Wairarapa Electric-power Board hereby makes and levies a special rate of three-sixteenths of a penny in the pound (£1) on the capital value of all rateable property situated in the Wangaehu Special-rating Area in the Wairarapa Electric-power District, comprising all that land situated in the Wellington Land District, and being portion of the Masterton County bounded by a line commencing at a point on the northern boundary of the Wairarapa Electric-power District at the south-west corner of Lot 2 on plan A 2805, deposited in the office of the District Land Registrar, at Wellington; thence following in a northerly direction the boundary of the Wairarapa Electric-power District to the north-western corner of Section 21, Block X, Kopuaranga Survey District; thence again following the boundary of the Wairarapa Electric-power District in a south-easterly and southerly direction to where it crosses the Te Ore Ore - Bideford Road at the most northerly corner of Kai-o-te Atua N.R. No. 3, Block XV, Kopuaranga Survey District; thence following the road in a south-westerly direction to the north-eastern boundary of Kai-o-te Atua N.R. No. 2; thence following in a south-easterly direction the eastern boundary of this section and in a westerly direction the southern boundary of this section and of Kai-o-te Atua N.R. No. 1 and of Wangaehu South Native Reserve to the Wangaehu River; thence in a northerly direction following to the starting-point the old boundary of the Wairarapa Electric-power District as gazetted on page 941 of the New Zealand Gazette Number 32, of the 25th March, 1920; and that such rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and shall be payable yearly on the 1st day of October in each and every year during the currency of such loan, which will be for a period not exceeding 36½ years, or until the loan is fully paid off.

NEW ZEALAND DAIRY-PRODUCE CONTROL BOARD.

Wellington, 19th July, 1927.

IT is hereby notified for public information that, in accordance with the provisions of section 15 of the Dairy-produce Export control Act, 1923, the New Zealand Dairy-produce Control Board has fixed the following amounts as the charges to be paid by way of levy on all dairy-produce shipped on the exporting vessel from New Zealand, after Sunday, the 31st July, 1927, viz.:

(a) In the case of butter, one thirty-second of a penny per pound; and

(b) In the case of cheese, one sixty-fourth of a penny per pound.

NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND.

In the matter of the Municipal Corporations Act, 1920, and the Public Works Act, 1908.

NOTICE is hereby given that the Devonport Borough Council proposes, under the provisions of the above-mentioned Acts, to execute a certain public work—namely, the formation of a road—and for the purposes of such public work the lands described in the Schedule hereto are required to be taken: And notice is hereby further given that a plan of the lands so required to be taken is deposited in the public office of the said Council, situate at Marine Square, Devonport, and is open for inspection without fee by all persons during ordinary office hours.

All persons affected by the execution of the said public work or by the taking of such lands who have any well-grounded objections to the execution of the said public work or to the taking of the said lands must state their objections in writing, and send the same within forty days from the first publication of this notice, to the Town Clerk of the said Council at the said office.

RESOLUTION TO WIND UP.

In the matter of the Companies Act, 1908, and in the matter of the MERCHANTS SUPPLIES, LIMITED (in Liquidation).

NOTICE is hereby given that at a meeting of the shareholders of the company, held in Antwerp on the 30th day of June, 1927, at which all the members of the company were present, the following resolutions were passed as special resolutions:—

Resolved, “That the company liquidate as from the 30th day of June, 1927; all business done to that date being included in the books of the company.”

Further resolved, “That Mr. K. G. ARCHER be and he is hereby appointed Liquidator of the company.”

The above resolutions were entered in the minute-book of the company, and signed by every member of the company, in accordance with the provisions of the Companies Act relating to special resolutions passed by private companies.

NOTICE OF DISSOLUTION OF PARTNERSHIP.

NOTICE is hereby given that the Partnership heretofore subsisting between us, the undersigned, carrying on business as Fancy Goods and General Household Hardware Merchants, at Main Street, Lower Hutt, under the style or firm name of “Murray and Jenkins,” has been dissolved by mutual consent as from the 22nd day of July, 1927, so far as concerns MR. DOUGLAS KEITH JENKINS, who retires from the said firm, and all debts due and owing by the said firm will be received and paid respectively by MRS. LILIAN MARY MURRAY, who is continuing the said business.
