Land proclaimed as a Road, and Road closed, in Block II, Akaroa Survey District, Wairewa County.

A PROCLAMATION.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by section twelve of the Land Act, 1924, I, General Sir Charles Fergusson, Baronet, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, hereby proclaim as a road the land in Akaroa Survey District described in the First Schedule hereto; and also do hereby proclaim as closed the road described in the Second Schedule hereto.

FIRST SCHEDULE.

LAND PROCLAIMED AS A ROAD.

APPROXIMATE areas of the pieces of land proclaimed as a road :—

A. R. P. Being portion of
0 1 23·9 Education Reserve 157 ; coloured pink.
0 0 3·5 Crown land ; coloured mauve.

SECOND SCHEDULE.

ROAD CLOSED.

APPROXIMATE areas of the pieces of road closed :—

0 0 0·6 Crown land ; coloured green.

All situated in Block II, Akaroa Survey District (Canterbury R.D.). (S.O. 887/418.)

All in the Canterbury Land District ; as the same are more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 69238, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, in the Wellington Land District, and thereon coloured as above mentioned.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 23rd day of July, 1927.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1908, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, I, General Sir Charles Fergusson, Baronet, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the additional land mentioned in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for the Kawakawa–Hokianga Railway, Ngapuhi northwards (Okoro Section).
