Proclaiming Road-lines laid out through Nuhaka 2c 2w Block
to be Public Roads.

A PROCLAMATION.

WHEREAS the parcels of land described in the Schedule
hereto were, by an order of the Native Land Court
made on the twenty-seventh day of June, one thousand nine
hundred and thirteen, duly laid out as road-lines, in pursuance
of section one hundred and seventeen of the Native Land
Act, 1909 :

And whereas by section two of the Native Land Amend-
ment and Native Land Claims Adjustment Act, 1918, it is
provided that where any road-line has heretofore been laid
out under the said section one hundred and seventeen and
has not been proclaimed as a public road, then such road-
line may be proclaimed as a public road under section forty-
eight of the Native Land Amendment Act, 1913, subject,
however, to the conditions prescribed by section fifty-one of
the last-mentioned Act and section fifteen of the Native Land
Amendment Act, 1914 :

And whereas the said Court is of the opinion that it is
in the public interest that the said road-lines should be pro-
claimed as public roads, and a notification to that effect has
been forwarded to the Minister of Lands, in terms of section
fifty-one of the Native Land Amendment Act, 1913 :

And whereas one month’s notice in writing of the intention
to proclaim the said road-lines as public roads has been given
by the Surveyor-General to the local authority of the district
concerned, in terms of section fifteen of the Native Land
Amendment Act, 1914 :

And whereas it is now expedient that the said road-lines
should be proclaimed as public roads :

Now, therefore, I, General Sir Charles Fergusson, Baronet,
Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pur-
suance and exercise of the powers conferred by section forty-
eight of the Native Land Amendment Act, 1913, do hereby
proclaim as public roads the road-lines described in the
Schedule hereto.

Block VIII, Nuhaka Survey District.

In the Hawke’s Bay Land District ; as the same are more
particularly delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 16/1406,
deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and
Survey, at Wellington, under No. 2212, and thereon coloured
pink.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-
General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued
under the Seal of that Dominion, this 1st day of June,
1927.

Land set apart as an Addition to a Public Cemetery.

A PROCLAMATION.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by sub-
section nine of section twelve of the Land Act, 1924, I,
General Sir Charles Fergusson, Baronet, Governor-General of
the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare
that from and after the date hereof the land comprised in
the piece of closed road described in the First Schedule hereto,
being land adjacent to that portion of the Omaka Public
Cemetery described in the Second Schedule hereto, shall be
deemed to be added to the said Omaka Public Cemetery.

FIRST SCHEDULE.

ALL that area in the Marlborough Land District, containing
by admeasurement 1 rood 30 perches, more or less, being
Section 8, Block III, Taylor Pass Survey District. As the
same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked
I. and S. 16/1407, deposited in the Head Office, Department
of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon bordered
red.

SECOND SCHEDULE.

ALL that area in the Marlborough Land District, containing
by admeasurement 7 acres 2 roods 13 perches, more or less,
being Lot 2, D.P. 771, being portion of Lot 4 of Section 28, and
portion of Lot 2 of Section 27, District of Omaka, and being
all the land comprised in certificate of title, Vol. 24, folio 8,
Marlborough Registry.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-
General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued
under the Seal of that Dominion, this 1st day of June,
1927.

Setting apart Land in Wellington Land District for Leasing
as a Small Grazing-run under the Land Act, 1924.

A PROCLAMATION.

BY virtue and in exercise of the powers and authorities
vested in me by section two hundred and twenty-five
of the Land Act, 1924, and of every other power and authority
enabling me in that behalf, I, General Sir Charles Fergusson,
Baronet, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand,
do hereby declare that the run mentioned in the Schedule
hereto shall be subject to the provisions of sections two hun-
dred and twenty-five to two hundred and forty-eight of
Part V of the Land Act, 1924, relating to small grazing-runs.

SCHEDULE.

WELLINGTON LAND DISTRICT.—WAIMARINO COUNTY.—
THIRD-CLASS LAND.

Wanganui River Trust Endowment.

SECTION 6, Block XV. Whirinaki Survey District: Area,
3,208 acres. Annual rental, £60.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-
General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued
under the Seal of that Dominion, this 1st day of June,
1927.

Altering a Proclamation defining the Middle-line of a Portion
of the Wellington—New Plymouth Railway (Wellington—
Tawa Flat Deviation).

A PROCLAMATION.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities
vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1908, and of
every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in
this behalf, I, General Sir Charles Fergusson, Baronet, Go-
vernor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby
revoke the Schedule to the Proclamation dated the nineteenth
day of December, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-
four, and published in the New Zealand Gazette No. 87 of
the twenty-second day of December, one thousand nine
hundred and twenty-four, defining the middle-line of a por-
tion of the Wellington—New Plymouth Railway (Wellington—Tawa Flat Deviation); and in lieu thereof do hereby
proclaim and declare that the middle-line of the said portion
of railway shall be as defined and set forth in the Schedule
hereto.

SCHEDULE.

COMMENCING at a point on the Wellington to Masterton line
of railway (as defined in a Proclamation dated the 18th day
