Matthew Robert Findlay, Esquire,
to be Registrar of Brands under the Stock Act, 1908, for the Wellington Branding Registration District, as from the 1st day of October, 1926. [Amending entry on page 1387 of New Zealand Gazette No. 27, of 5th May, 1927.]
William Joseph Fix, Esquire,
to be an Inspector for the purposes of the Apiaries Act, 1908, as from the 1st day of May, 1927.
George Hamlin, Esquire,
to be Registrar of Births and Deaths of Maoris at Mataora Bay, as from the 19th day of April, 1927.
Robert Alexander Buchanan, Esquire,
to be Registrar of Marriages and Registrar of Births and Deaths for the district of Rongotea, as from the 21st day of April, 1927.

Appointment of Associate Members of the Children’s Courts under the Child Welfare Act, 1925.

HIS Excellency the Governor-General has, in pursuance of the Child Welfare Act, 1925, been pleased to appoint for a period of one year ending on the 30th day of April, 1928, the several persons whose respective names and addresses are set out in the first and second columns respectively of the Schedule hereto as persons to be associated with the respective Children’s Courts named in the third column of the said Schedule generally in relation to all matters that may be dealt with by such respective Courts.

Member of Engineers Registration Board appointed.
WHEREAS by warrant published in Gazette No. 27, of 6th May, 1926, page 1222, Charles John McKenzie, Esquire, Civil Engineer, Acting Engineer-in-Chief and Under-Secretary, Public Works Department, was appointed a member of the Engineers Registration Board in terms of the Engineers Registration Act, 1924, in place of Frederick William Furkert, Esquire, who had left the Dominion and resigned his office in terms of the said Act:
And whereas the said Frederick William Furkert has returned to New Zealand and the said Charles John McKenzie has resigned his office in terms of the said Act:
Now, therefore, I, Kenneth Stuart Williams, Minister of Public Works, in pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by the said Act, do hereby appoint
Frederick William Furkert, Esquire,
Civil Engineer, Engineer-in-Chief and Under-Secretary, Public Works Department, to be a member of the Engineers Registration Board.

Commander Horace Leslie Morgan, D.S.O., R.N., to H.M.S. “Dunedin,” vice Peters; to date 1st April, 1927.
Lieutenant-Commander (G) Edward Henry Longsdon, R.N., to H.M.S. “Dunedin,” vice Selby, and as Squadron Gunnery Officer; to date 1st April, 1927.
Commissioned Gunner Thomas Cavan, R.N., to H.M.S. “Dunedin,” vice Maunder, for D.F. and I duties; to date 1st April, 1927.
