CROWN LANDS NOTICES.

Lands in the Auckland Land District forfeited.

Department of Lands and Survey, Wellington, 28th April, 1927.

NOTICE is hereby given that the leases and licenses of the undermentioned lands having been declared forfeited by resolution of the Auckland Land Board, the said lands have thereby reverted to the Crown under the provisions of the Land Act, 1924, and the Discharged Soldiers Settlement Act, 1915, and amendments.

Pastoral Run in Canterbury Land District liable to forfeiture.

NOTICE is hereby given to Henry Louis Scott, shepherd, of Waikari, that his interest as lessee in Pastoral License 433 over the Crown land in Blocks IV and IX of the Okuku Survey District, and Blocks VIII and XII of the Esk Survey District, 3,500 acres, known as “The Den,” will be forfeited at the expiration of three months from the date of this notice if rent owing under the said license, together with the full amount of penalty thereon is not paid within the said period of three months.

Lands in Wellington Land District for Sale by Public Auction.

NOTICE is hereby given that the undermentioned lands will be offered for sale by public auction for cash or on deferred payments at the Oddfellows’ Hall, Petone, on Thursday, 2nd June, 1927, at 7.30 o’clock p.m., under the provisions of the Land for Settlements Act, 1925, and the Land Act, 1924.

WELLINGTON LAND DISTRICT.—TOWN LAND.

Petone Borough.—Belmont Survey District.—Wilford Settlement.

Wilford Settlement is situated in the eastern part of the Borough of Petone, and is only two or three minutes from the new Cuba Street Railway-station, which will be about fifteen minutes’ journey from Wellington by rail. There is every reason to believe that this section of the railway will be in operation for passenger traffic at an early date.

The sections now offered are admirably situated for residential purposes. The soil is of rich alluvial nature suitable for all kinds of gardening.
