NOTICE is hereby given that a general meeting of the above company will be held in my office, situate in the "Tribune" Buildings, Karamu Road, Hastings, on Wednesday, the 11th day of May, 1927, at 11 o'clock a.m., to receive the account of the Liquidator of the said company in connection with the said winding-up and the disposal of the assets of the said company.

RESOLUTIONS MAKING SPECIAL RATES.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Bodies' Loans Act, 1926, and of all other powers (if any) it therewith enabling, the Taranaki County Council hereby resolves as follows:

Upper Frankley Road Loan, £480.

That, for the purpose of providing for the payment of interest, sinking fund, and other charges on the Taranaki County Upper Frankley Road Special-rating District Loan of £480 (1927), authorized to be raised by the Taranaki County Council under the above-mentioned Act, for the purpose of forming and metalling the Upper Frankley Road, the said Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of nine-sixteenths of a penny in the pound sterling on the rateable value (on the basis of the unimproved value) of all rateable property in the Upper Frankley Road Special-rating District of the County of Taranaki, being Sections part 100, 129, parts 4 and 5, part 107, Block 1, Egmont Survey District; parts 93, 113, 96, Block 1 and 2, Egmont Survey District; part 96, parts 96, 795, parts 792, part 96, part 795, Block 2, Egmont Survey District; part 90, Block 1, Egmont Survey District; 84, 85, Block 1, Egmont, and 8, Paritutu Survey Districts; 87, 89, 88, 90, 95A, 99, parts 95, 100, 105, part 107, part 4, parts 93, 113, 91, 94, 95, Block 1, Egmont Survey District; parts 792, 795, parts 792, 795, parts 795, 792, 96, Block 2, Egmont Survey District; parts 784, 795, 792, Block 2, Egmont Survey District; parts 113, 5, 93, Block 1, Egmont Survey District; Sub. 1 and 2 of 784, Block 9, Paritutu Survey District; part 87, Block 1, Egmont Survey District: And that such special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable yearly on the 1st day of April in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of thirty-six and a half (36½) years, or until the loan is fully paid off.

Te Arei Road Loan of £530.

That, for the purpose of providing for the payment of interest, sinking fund, and other charges on the Taranaki County Te Arei Road Special-rating District Loan of £530, 1927, authorized to be raised by the Taranaki County Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of forming and metalling the Te Arei Road, the said Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of one and eleven-sixteenths pence in the pound sterling on the rateable value (on the basis of the unimproved value) of all rateable property in the Te Arei Road Special-rating District of the County of Taranaki, being Sections parts 9, 180, 181, Block 9, Waitara Survey District; 1 and 2, Manganui Town Belt; 173, 175, 252, 174, 160, 161, 162, Block 9, Waitara Survey District: And that such special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable yearly on the 1st day of April in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of thirty-six and a half (36½) years or until the loan is fully paid off.

Upper Timaru Road Loan, £530.

That, for the purpose of providing for the payment of interest, sinking fund, and other charges on the Taranaki County Upper Timaru Road Special-rating District Loan of £530, 1927, authorized to be raised by the Taranaki County Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of forming and metalling the Upper Timaru Road, the said Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of three and nine-sixteenths pence in the pound sterling on the rateable value (on the basis of the unimproved value) of all rateable

property in the Upper Timaru Road Special-rating District of the County of Taranaki, being Sections 3, part 107, 106, 128, 117, 122, part 116, part 9, Block 2, Cape Survey District: And that such special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable yearly on the 1st day of April in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of thirty-six and a half (36½) years, or until the loan is fully paid off.

Greenwood Road Loan, £530.

That, for the purpose of providing for the payment of interest, sinking fund, and other charges on the Taranaki County Greenwood Road Special-rating District Loan of £530, 1927, authorized to be raised by the Taranaki County Council under the above-mentioned Act, for the purpose of forming and metalling the Greenwood Beach Road, the said Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of one and three-sixteenths pence in the pound sterling on the rateable value (on the basis of the unimproved value) of all rateable property in the Greenwood Road Special-rating District of the County of Taranaki, being Sections part Sub. 1 of 4, and part 11, part Sub. A, part Sub. 2 of 4, part Section 11, part Sub. 2, part 4, part Sub. 3, part 32, Block 2, Cape Survey District, part 35, Block 1, Wairau Survey District: And that such special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable on the 1st day of April in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of thirty-six and a half (36½) years, or until the loan is fully paid off.

Lower Pitone Road Special Loan, £300.

That, for the purpose of providing for the payment of interest, sinking fund, and other charges on the Taranaki County Lower Pitone Road Special-rating District Loan of £300, 1927, authorized to be raised by the Taranaki County Council under the above-mentioned Act, for the purpose of forming and metalling the Lower Pitone Road, the said Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of one half-penny in the pound sterling on the rateable value (on the basis of the unimproved value) of all rateable property in the Lower Pitone Special-rating District of the County of Taranaki, being Sections parts 4, 5, 8 of 27, 15, parts 19, 24, parts 14, 24, Sub. 8 of 34, Subs. 6, 7, 8 of 26 and 34, Subs. 4, 5 of 26, parts 1, 6, 7, 13, 19, Block 2, Cape Survey District: And that such special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of such loan and be payable yearly on the 1st day of April in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of thirty-six and a half (36½) years, or until the loan is fully paid off.

Johnson Road Special Loan, £320.

That, for the purpose of providing for the payment of interest, sinking fund, and other charges on the Taranaki County Johnson Road Special-rating District Loan of £320, 1927, authorized to be raised by the Taranaki County Council under the above-mentioned Act, for the purpose of forming and metalling the Johnson Road, the said Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of one and five-eighths pence in the pound sterling on the rateable value (on the basis of the unimproved value) of all rateable property in the Johnson Road Special-rating District of the County of Taranaki, being Sections 7, 8, 6, 11, 18, 14, 15, 16, Block 3, Paritutu: And that such special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable yearly on the 1st day of April in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of thirty-six and a half (36½) years, or until the loan is fully paid off.

Upper Korito Road Loan, £410.

That, for the purpose of providing for the payment of interest, sinking fund, and other charges on the Taranaki County Upper Korito Road Special-rating District Loan of £410, 1927, authorized to be raised by the Taranaki County Council under the above-mentioned Act, for the purpose of forming and metalling the Upper Korito Road, the said Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of three and thirteen-sixteenths pence in the pound sterling on the rateable value (on the basis of the unimproved value) of all rateable property in the Upper Korito Road Special-rating District of the County of Taranaki, being Sections 3, 7, 8, 4, 5, 156, 6, 157, Block 6, Egmont Survey District: And that such special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable yearly on the 1st day of April in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of thirty-six and a half (36½) years, or until the loan is fully paid off.
