to be the Registrar of Electors for the Electoral District of Bay of Plenty for the purposes of the Legislature Act, 1908, as from the 16th day of March, 1927.

to be the Returning Officer for the Electoral District of Wanganui for the purposes of the Legislature Act, 1908, as from the 6th day of April, 1927.

to be the Returning Officer for the Electoral District of Hamilton for the purposes of the Legislature Act, 1908, Clerk of the Magistrates’ Courts at Hamilton and Morrinsville for the purposes of the Magistrates’ Courts Act, 1908, Registrar at Hamilton of the Supreme Court of New Zealand and Sheriff for the district of Hamilton for the purposes of the Judicature Act, 1908, and Local Patent Officer at Hamilton for the purposes of section 15 of the Patents, Designs, and Trade-marks Act, 1921–22, as from the 8th day of April, 1927.

THE AUCKLAND REGIMENT (COUNTESS OF RANFURLY’S OWN).
Alexander Glen Simmers to be 2nd Lieutenant (on probation), and is seconded for duty with the 1st C Battalion. Dated 8th April, 1927.
THE WAIKATO REGIMENT.
Lieutenant E. L. Quarrie, 1st Battalion, is transferred to the Reserve of Officers, Class I (b) R.D. 4. Dated 9th April, 1927.
THE WELLINGTON REGIMENT.
The appointment of 2nd Lieutenant (on probation) N. L. Shaw, 1st Battalion, lapses. Dated 8th April, 1927.
THE WELLINGTON WEST COAST REGIMENT.
Lieutenant I. S. Gardiner, 1st C Battalion, is transferred to the Canterbury Regiment. Dated 1st April, 1927.
2nd Lieutenant (on probation) K. W. H. Ellicott, from the Hawke’s Bay Regiment, to be 2nd Lieutenant (on probation) with seniority as from the 21st August, 1925, and is seconded for duty with the 1st C Battalion. Dated 11th April, 1927.
THE HAWKE’S BAY REGIMENT.
Lieutenant I. M. Hannah ceases to be seconded to the 2nd C Battalion, and is posted to the 1st Battalion, with his original seniority. Dated 2nd April, 1927.
2nd Lieutenant (on probation) K. W. H. Ellicott, 1st C Battalion, is transferred to the Wellington West Coast Regiment. Dated 11th April, 1927.
THE TARANAKI REGIMENT.
The undermentioned to be 2nd Lieutenants (on probation) and are seconded for duty with the 1st C Battalion. Dated 2nd April, 1927 :—

Lieutenant I. S. Gardiner from the Wellington West Coast Regiment to be Lieutenant, with seniority as from the 8th May, 1926, and is seconded for duty with the 1st C Battalion. Dated 1st April, 1927.
THE NELSON, MARLBOROUGH, AND WEST COAST REGIMENT.
