Land proclaimed as a Street in the City of Nelson.

A PROCLAMATION.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by section twelve of the Land Act, 1924, I, General Sir Charles Fergusson, Baronet, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim as a street the land in the City of Nelson described in the Schedule hereto.

SCHEDULE.

LAND PROCLAIMED AS A STREET.

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land proclaimed as a street : 12 perches.

Being part of 6 acres granted to Collins and part Section 331, situated in the City of Nelson (Nelson R.D.). (S.O. 663R.)

In the Nelson Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 68596, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, in the Wellington Land District, and thereon coloured pink.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 12th day of April, 1927.

The Leasehold Interest in Land taken for the Purposes of a State Forest in Block II, Lyndon Survey District.

A PROCLAMATION.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1908, and the Public Works Amendment Act, 1913, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, I, General Sir Charles Fergusson, Baronet, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the estate of leasehold in the land described in the Schedule hereto, held by Walter George Morrison under Occupation License No. 790 for a term of forty-two years from the first day of July, one thousand eight hundred and ninety-three, is hereby taken for the purposes of a State forest; and I also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the twentieth day of April, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-seven.

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land in respect of which the leasehold interest is taken: 21 acres 0 roods 22 perches.

Being Section 29, Hanmer Plains Reserve, Square 82. Situated in Block II, Lyndon Survey District (Canterbury R.D.).

In the Canterbury Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 68642, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, in the Wellington Land District, and thereon edged red.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand; and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 7th day of April, 1927.

Revoking Part of a Proclamation taking Land for a further Portion of the Wellington-Napier Railway (Lower Hutt Valley Duplication), (8m. 55chs. to 9m. 74chs.).

A PROCLAMATION.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the Public Works Amendment Act, 1909, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, I, General Sir Charles Fergusson, Baronet, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby revoke so much of the Proclamation dated the twenty-eighth day of September, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-six, and published in the New Zealand Gazette No. 67 of the thirtieth day of the same month, taking land for a further portion of the Wellington-Napier Railway (Lower Hutt Valley Duplication) as affects the land described in the Schedule hereto, such land being no longer required.

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land not required: 15·28 perches.

Being portion of Lots 35 and 36, D.P. 1951, of Section 26 (Hutt R.D.).

Situated in the Borough of Lower Hutt, Block XIV, Belmont Survey District. (S.O. 2119.)

In the Wellington Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 66906 (sheet 5), deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, in the Wellington Land District, and thereon coloured neutral.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 12th day of April, 1927.

Amending Orders in Council authorizing the Raetihi Town Board to use Water from the Makara, Little Makara, Orau-toha, Makotuku, and Mangaone Streams for the Purpose of generating Electricity and to erect Electric lines within Portions of the Manganui, Makotuku, and Karioi Survey Districts.

At the Government Buildings at Wellington, this 28th day of March, 1927.

Present:

THE HONOURABLE W. DOWNIE STEWART PRESIDING IN COUNCIL.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred on him by the Public Works Amendment Act, 1908, the Public Works Amendment Act, 1911, and of every other power enabling him in that behalf, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion doth hereby revoke the Order in Council dated the twenty-first day of February, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-seven, and published in the New Zealand Gazette of the twenty-fourth day of the same month, amending the Orders in Council hereinafter referred to, and doth hereby amend the Order in Council dated the nineteenth day of March, one thousand nine hundred and seventeen, and published in the New Zealand Gazette of the twenty-second day of the same month, and the Order in Council dated the twenty-second day of October, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-four, and published in the New Zealand Gazette of the twenty-third day of the same month, authorizing the Raetihi Town Board to use water from the Makara, Little Makara, Orautoha, Makotuku, and Mangaone Streams for the purpose of generating electricity and to erect electric lines within portions of the Manganui, Makotuku, and Karioi Survey Districts, by adding to the first sentence of clause three of the Schedule to the former Order in Council the words “and the whole of the water may be taken from an unnamed stream in Section 9, Block II, Makotuku Survey District”; and by revoking clause two of the Schedule to the latter Order in Council and substituting the following as clause 2: “The system of supply shall be as described in paragraph (e) of clause 2 of the regulations. The generating voltages shall be 3,300 or 6,600 volts between the phases. The transmission and primary distribution voltage shall be 6,600 volts between phases. The secondary distribution voltage shall be 400 volts between phases and 230 volts between any phase and neutral.”
