HOROWHENUA COUNTY COUNCIL.

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE.

IN pursuance and in exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1926, and of all other powers (if any) it thereunto enabling, the Horowhenua County Council hereby resolves as follows :—

That, for the purpose of providing for the payment of interest, sinking fund, and other charges on the Horowhenua County Waikawa South Road Extension Special-rating District Loan of £1,400, 1927, authorized to be raised by the Horowhenua County Council under the above-mentioned Act, for the purpose of constructing an extension to the Waikawa South Road, including the purchase of land and fencing, also the engineering and clerical costs in connection with the undertaking, the said Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of two (2) pence and one-sixteenth (1/16th) of a penny in the pound sterling on the rateable value (on the basis of the capital value) of all rateable property in the Waikawa South Road Extension Special-rating District, being more particularly described in the Schedule at the foot hereof, and that such special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable yearly on the first day of June in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of thirty-six and one-half (36½) years, or until the loan is fully paid off.

Ahiti-Kimbolton Loan, £450.

IN pursuance and in exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1926, and of all other powers (if any) it thereunto enabling, the Pohingina County Council hereby resolves as follows :—

That, for the purpose of providing for the payment of interest, sinking fund, and other charges on the Pohingina County Apiti-Kimbolton Main Highway Deviation Special-rating Area Loan of £450, 1927, authorized to be raised by the Pohingina County Council under the above-mentioned Act, for the purpose of making a deviation in the Apiti-Kimbolton Main Highway between Sections 43 and 41, Block X, Apiti Survey District, the said Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of one sixty-second (1/62nd) of a penny in the pound sterling on the rateable value (on the basis of the capital value) of all rateable property in the Apiti-Kimbolton Main Highway Deviation Special-rating Area, being more particularly described in the Schedule at the foot hereof, and that such special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of such loan and be payable yearly on the first day of April in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of twenty (20) years, or until the loan is fully paid off.

Pohangina Township Culvert Loan, £450.

That, for the purpose of providing for the payment of interest, sinking fund, and other charges on the Pohangina County Pohangina Township Culvert Special-rating District Loan of £450, 1927, authorized to be raised by the Pohangina County Council under the above-mentioned Act, for the purpose of re-erecting in concrete the culvert on the Main Road in the Pohangina Township between Sections 29 and 35, Block X, the said Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of one thirty-third (1/33rd) of a penny in the pound sterling on the rateable value (on the basis of the capital value) of all rateable property in the Pohangina Township Culvert Special-rating District, being more particularly described in the Schedule at the foot hereof, and that such special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of such loan and be payable yearly on the first day of April in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of twenty (20) years, or until the loan is fully paid off.
