Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby amend the Order in Council relating to the representation of the combined district of Lawrence Borough and portion of Tuapeka County on the Otago Electric-power Board, dated the seventeenth day of January, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-seven, and published in the New Zealand Gazette No. 2, of the twentieth day of January, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-seven, by altering the date fixed for the first election of the representative of the said combined district to the twenty-seventh day of April, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-seven.

Apportionment of Representation on the North Canterbury Electric-power Board.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government Buildings at Wellington, this 22nd day of March, 1927.
Present:
THE HONOURABLE W. DOWNIE STEWART, PRESIDING IN COUNCIL.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon him by the Electric-power Boards Act, 1925, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby determine with respect to the North Canterbury Electric-power District, being an electric-power district duly constituted by Proclamation dated the twenty-sixth day of February, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-seven, and published in the New Zealand Gazette No. 11, of the third day of March, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-seven, that the number of representatives of each constituent district on the Board of the said district shall be the number specified in the Schedule hereto opposite the name of that constituent district.

North Canterbury Electric-power Board.—First Election.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government Buildings at Wellington, this 22nd day of March, 1927.

THE HONOURABLE W. DOWNIE STEWART PRESIDING IN COUNCIL.
IN pursuance and in exercise of the powers conferred upon him by the Electric-power Boards Act, 1925, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby appoint Friday, the thirteenth day of May, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-seven, as the day on which shall be held the first election of the representatives of the constituent districts in the North Canterbury Electric-power District, being an electric-power district duly constituted by Proclamation dated the twenty-sixth day of February, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-seven, and published in the New Zealand Gazette No. 11 of the third day of March, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-seven.

Domain Board appointed to have Control of the Papanui Domain.

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by section forty of the Public Reserves and Domains Act, 1908, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby appoint
James Leo Carrington,
Cuthbert George Derrett,
Stanley Kruse,
John Munro,
Frederick William Sisson,
Harry Tillman, and
Wilfred John Walter
to be the Papanui Domain Board, having control of the land described in the Schedule hereto; and doth hereby appoint Tuesday, the fifth day of April, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-seven, at eight o’clock p.m., as the time when, and the Waimairi County Council Office as the place where, the first meeting of the Board shall be held.
SCHEDULE.
PAPANUI DOMAIN.
ALL that area in Canterbury Land District, containing by admeasurement 6 acres 2 roods 25 perches, more or less, being part of Rural Section No. 5, situate in Block VII, Christchurch Survey District, and being the whole of the land comprised in certificate of title, Vol. 63, folio 212. As the same is delineated on the plan marked L. 1475, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon bordered pink.

The Eastern and Southern Sides of Portions of Roads in the County of Waitaki exempted from the Provisions of Section 117 of the Public Works Act, 1908, subject to a Condition as to the Building-line.

THE HONOURABLE W. DOWNIE STEWART PRESIDING IN COUNCIL.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by the Public Works Act, 1908, and of all other powers in anywise enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby approve of the following resolution passed by the Waitaki County Council on the twenty-fifth day of June, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-six, viz. :—
“That the Waitaki County Council, being the local authority having control of the roads in Block I, Oamaru Survey District, fronting the western boundary of Sections 53, 54, 55, and the northern boundary of said Section 55 and the road intersecting Section 23, said block, hereby declares that the provisions of section one hundred and seventeen of the Public Works Act, 1908, shall not apply to the eastern side of the said road fronting on the west said Sections 53, 54, 55 to the southern side of the said road fronting on the north side Section 55, and to the southern side of the said road intersecting said Section 23, Block I, Oamaru Survey District ”;
subject to the condition that no building or part of a building shall at any time be erected on the land fronting the eastern side of the portion of road firstly described in the Schedule hereto, or the southern side of the portion of road secondly described in the Schedule hereto within a distance of thirty-three feet from the centre-lines of the said portions of roads.
