Provisional State Forest No. 140.
All that area situated in Blocks XIII, Tairua IV, Waihou, and I, Ohinemuri Survey Districts, and containing by admeasurement 631 acres, more or less. Bounded towards the north, north-east, south-east, and again north-east by Section 7, Block XIII, Tairua Survey District; towards the south, east, and again south by Provisional State Forest No. 72 (Gazette, 1920, page 924); towards the north-west and west generally by a public road and Section 11, Block IV, Waihou Survey District, and towards the north-west, north, and west generally by the Puarere Stream, Horete No. 132, and the above Section 7, Block XIII, Tairua Survey District.
As the same are more particularly delineated on the plan No. 23/2, deposited in the Head Office of the State Forest Service at Wellington, and thereon bordered red.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 18th day of March, 1927.

A PROCLAMATION.
I N pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1908, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, I, General Sir Charles Fergusson, Baronet, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for the purposes of a road; and I do also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the eleventh day of April, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-seven.

Revoking Portion of a Proclamation taking Land for the Purposes of a Post-office in Block I, Waipiro Survey District.

A PROCLAMATION.
I N pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the Public Works Amendment Act, 1909, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, I, General Sir Charles Fergusson, Baronet, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby revoke so much of the Proclamation dated the fourteenth day of June, one thousand nine hundred and ten, and published in the New Zealand Gazette of the sixteenth day of the same month, taking land for the purposes of a post-office in Block I, Waipiro Survey District, as affects the land described in the Schedule hereto, such land being no longer required for the purpose for which it was taken.
SCHEDULE.
APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land not required:— 12 perches. Portion of Subdivision No. 3 of Matarau No. 2 Block.
Situated in Block I, Waipiro Survey District.
In the Gisborne Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 68419, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, in the Wellington Land District, and thereon edged pink.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 15th day of March, 1927.

Amending the Apportionment of Representation on the Hawke’s Bay Electric-power Board, and fixing the Date of the First Election of the Representatives of the Hastings Borough on the said Board.

At the Government Buildings at Wellington, this 22nd day of March, 1927.

I N pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by the Electric-power Boards Act, 1925, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby amend the Order in Council determining the number of representatives of each constituent district on the Board of the Hawke’s Bay Electric-power District, dated the twenty-first day of July, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-four, and published in the New Zealand Gazette No. 49, of the twenty-fourth day of July, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-four, by adding the Hastings Borough to the constituent districts, and determining that such borough shall have three representatives, and doth hereby fix the twenty-seventh day of April, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-seven, as the date for the first election of the representatives of the said borough.
