easterly along the northern boundaries of Sections 38, 39, and 40, Block XIV, Tahoraite Survey District, Section I, Block XV, Tahoraite Survey District, to a public road forming the eastern boundary of the said Section 1; thence southerly along the western side of that road to a point in line with the northern boundary of Section 9, Block XV, Tahoraite Survey District, across the road, and easterly along that boundary to the north-eastern corner of the aforesaid Section 9; thence southerly along the eastern boundary of Sections 9 and 8 to the southernmost corner of the last-mentioned section; thence southerly and westerly generally along the eastern side of the Rabbit Fence Reserve to its intersection with the north-western boundary-line of the land shown on plan 4376, deposited in the office of the District Land Registrar at Wellington; thence westerly generally along the northern boundaries of that land to the western boundary of Section 13, Block III, Makuri Survey District; thence northerly along that boundary to the Rabbit Fence Reserve; thence north-westerly along the western side of that reserve to the boundary of the Wellington Land District, and westerly along the northern boundary of that district to a point in the middle of the Manawatu River; thence westerly along the middle of that river to a point opposite the south-eastern corner of Section 2, Subdivision X, of the Manchester Block; thence northerly along the eastern boundary of that subdivision to the north-western corner of Section 3, Block II, Gorge Survey District; thence to and along the middle of the road forming the north-eastern boundary of the said Section 3, to a point in line with the western boundary of Section 2, Block II aforesaid; thence to and along the western, northern, and eastern boundaries of that section to its intersection with the western boundary of Section 6, Block II, aforesaid; thence north-easterly along the western boundaries of Section 6, Block II aforesaid, Sections 4, 3, 1, and 6, Block VII, Gorge Survey District, to the north-western corner of the last-mentioned section; thence south-easterly along the northern boundary of that section to Whariti Trig. Station; and thence northerly along the summit of the Ruahine Range to Trig. Station 85, the point of commencement; and excluding therefrom the Borough of Woodville.
PAHIATUA COUNTY.
All that area in the Wellington Land District bounded by a line commencing at the north-eastern corner of Section 43, Block XII, Mount Cerberus Survey District; thence southerly along the eastern boundary of said Section 43 to the summit of the Puketoi Range; thence along the summit of the Puketoi Range to Puketoi Trig. Station; thence along a right line from Puketoi Trig. Station to the north-eastern corner of Section 61, Block VIII, Mangaone Survey District; thence along the northern boundary of Section 61 aforesaid to the Tiraumea River, and down that river to a point in line with the northern boundary of Section 175, Block VIII aforesaid; thence to and along that boundary to Pa Valley Road; thence along Pa Valley Road to the Mangaone Valley Road, across that road, and along the southern boundary of Section 16, Block IV, Mangaone Survey District, to the Mangaone Stream; thence up that stream to a point in line with the south-western boundary of Section 30A, Block IV aforesaid; thence to and along that boundary and the south-western boundaries of Sections 30 and 27, Block III, Mangaone Survey District, to the westernmost corner of the last-mentioned section; thence along the eastern boundary of Section 33, Block III aforesaid, to its southernmost corner; thence north-westerly along the south-western boundaries of Sections 33 and 4A to Mount Heale; thence south-westerly along the south-eastern boundaries of Sections 3, 4, and 5, Block III aforesaid, to the southernmost corner of the last-mentioned section; thence north-westerly along the south-western boundaries of Sections 5, 1A, and 1 to the Makakahi River; thence along a right line to Arawaru Trig. Station; thence northerly along the summit of the Tararua Range to the Manawatu River; thence along the southern boundary of the Woodville County hereinbefore described to its south-eastern corner, and thence along the Wellington Land District boundary to the north-eastern corner of Section 43, Block XII, Mount Cerberus Survey District, the point of commencement; and excluding therefrom the Borough of Pahiatua.
THIRD SCHEDULE.
KUMEROA RIDING.—WOODVILLE COUNTY.
ALL that area in the Woodville County bounded on the north-east, east, and south by the Woodville County boundary hereinbefore described, and on the west and north-west by the Manawatu River.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 18th day of March, 1927.

A PROCLAMATION.
BY virtue and in exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon me by section eighteen of the Forests Act, 1921–22, I, General Sir Charles Fergusson, Baronet, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby set apart the Crown lands described in the Schedule hereto as provisional State Forests.
SCHEDULE.
AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT.—AUCKLAND FOREST-CONSERVATION REGION.
Provisional State Forest No. 134.
ALL that area situated in Blocks XI and XII, Whitianga Survey District, and Blocks I, II, V, and VI, Tairua Survey District, and containing by admeasurement 8,426 acres, more or less. Commencing at Peg V (Ben Bolt), bounded towards the east generally by Provisional State Forest No. 70 (Gazette, 1920, page 924), Section 27, Block II, Tairua Survey District, a public road, Section 28 of aforesaid Block II; again by a public road, round the northern, western, and southern sides of Broken Hills Township, and continuing southwards to Section 3, Block VI, Tairua Survey District; across a public road; again by the last-mentioned section, a public road, the Tairua River and Section 2, Block VI, Tairua Survey District; towards the south generally by the Takatakahia and Ngarua Streams and the Taparahi No. 1 Block to its northernmost point; towards the west generally by Crown land, the boundary-line following the surveyed boundary-line between former timber leases, and passing about 6 chains east of Trig. Station 95, Hihi, to the southernmost point of State Forest No. 35 (Gazette, 1911, page 702); and towards the north-west by that State forest to the point of commencement: excluding Sections 1 and 2, Block V, Tairua Survey District, and two legal roads within the above-described boundaries.
Provisional State Forest No. 135.
All that area, being Sections 1 and 2, Block XII, and 1, Block XIII, Whitianga Survey District, and containing by admeasurement 1,082 acres, more or less. Bounded towards the south-west, north-west, and north-east by Provisional State Forest No. 70 (Gazette, 1920, page 924); towards the south-east generally by Section 14s, Hikuai Settlement, a road along the left bank of the Kikuai Stream, Section 11s, Hikuai Settlement, and Sections 13 and 14, Block II, Tairua Survey District: excluding the public roads and the Kikuai Stream.
Provisional State Forest No. 136.
All that area situated in Block II, Tairua Survey District, and containing by admeasurement 100 acres, more or less. Bounded on all four sides by Provisional State Forest No. 71 (Gazette, 1920, page 924).
Provisional State Forest No. 137.
All that area situated in Block VII, Tairua Survey District, and containing by admeasurement 346 acres, more or less. Bounded towards the east generally by Provisional State Forest No. 71 (Gazette, 1920, page 924); towards the south by Section 3, Block XI, Tairua Survey District; towards the west by Section 26s, and towards the north-west and north-east by Section 25s, both of Hikuai Settlement.
Provisional State Forest No. 138.
All that area situated in Blocks VI, X, XI, and XIV, Tairua Survey District, and containing by admeasurement 6,236 acres, more or less. Bounded towards the north-east generally by a public road; towards the east generally by Provisional State Forest No. 71 (Gazette, 1920, page 924), State Forest No. 36 (Gazette, 1887, page 756), again by Provisional State Forest No. 71, and Section 1, Block XIV, Tairua Survey District; and towards the west generally by the Tairua River and the Wharekawa East Nos. 4A and 4B Blocks.
Provisional State Forest No. 139.
All that area, being Sections 8 and 9, and Crown land, Block XIII, Tairua Survey District, and containing by admeasurement 1,380 acres, more or less. Bounded towards the east generally by Sections 2 and 3; towards the south generally by Sections 1, 7, and 6, all of Block XIII, Tairua Survey District; towards the west and north generally by a public road on the left bank of the Apakura Stream, the Apakura Stream, Pakirarahi No. 2B, and the Oneura Stream,
