Pursuant to the provisions of the Local Elections and Polls
Act, 1925, the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1913, and their amend-
ments, I hereby give notice that at a poll of the ratepayers of
the Borough of Hamilton, taken on the 12th day of October,
1926, on the proposal to borrow the sum of £6,000 for making
and constructing sewer drains and drainage-works in the
Borough of Hamilton, including the purchase of any necessary
land, materials, plant, and tools, and payments for labour,
engineers’ fees, plans, and supervision, and compensation to
owners of property in respect of such sewer drainage works :—
The number of votes recorded for the proposal was 739 ;
the number of votes recorded against the proposal was 483 ;
informal, 13 ; total number of votes, 1,235.
I therefore declare that the proposal was carried.

Notice respecting Proposed Alteration of Boundaries, Hillside
Drainage District.

IT is hereby notified that a petition has been presented to
His Excellency the Governor-General, under the Land
Drainage Act, 1908, praying that the area described in the
Schedule hereto may be included in the Hillside Drainage
District. All persons affected are hereby called upon to
lodge any written objections to or petitions against the pro-
posed alteration of boundaries which they desire to lodge
within one month from the first publication of this notice,
such objections or petitions to be addressed to the Minister
of Internal Affairs, Wellington.

line commencing at the easternmost corner of Lot 9 on plan

the public road forming the north-eastern boundary of the
said Lot 9 to the westernmost corner of part Section 1 on
plan 7344, deposited as aforesaid ; thence south - easterly
along the western boundary of the said part Section 1 and
Lot 1 on plan 6454A, deposited as aforesaid, to the public
road forming the southern boundary of the said Lot 1 ;
thence south-easterly along that road to the north-eastern

Prohibition of Issue of Money-order and Transmission of
Postal Correspondence in New Zealand for Bartlett and
Company, 23, Rue de la Confederation, Geneva, Switzerland.

THE Postmaster-General of the Dominion of New Zealand
having reasonable ground for supposing that the com-
pany whose name and address are shown in the Schedule
hereunder is engaged in promoting or carrying out a lottery
or scheme of chance, it is hereby ordered, under section 28
of the Post and Telegraph Act, 1908, that no money-order in
favour of the said company shall be issued, and that no
postal packet addressed to the said company (either by its
own or any fictitious or assumed name), or to the manager,
secretary, or other officer thereof, or addressed to the address
in the Schedule hereunder without a name, shall be either
registered or forwarded by the Post Office of New Zealand.
