Revoking a Proclamation defining the Middle-line of a Portion
of the Te Roti - Opunake Railway Extension (Portion of
Line between Opunake and Moturoa).

A PROCLAMATION.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities
vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1908, and of
every other power and authority in anywise enabling me
in this behalf, I, General Sir Charles Fergusson, Baronet,
Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby
revoke the Proclamation dated the seventh day of December,
one thousand nine hundred and twenty-three, and published
in the New Zealand Gazette No. 86, of the thirteenth day of
the same month, defining the middle-line of a portion of the
Te Roti – Opunake Railway Extension (portion of line between
Opunake and Moturoa).
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-
General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued
under the Seal of that Dominion, this 23rd day of
October, 1926.

Revoking Part of a Proclamation taking Land for a Further
Portion of the East Coast Main Trunk Railway (Napier
northwards) Portions of Putorino and Mohaka Sections,
and for Road-diversions in connection therewith and a Road
Approach thereto.

A PROCLAMATION.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities
vested in me by the Public Works Amendment Act, 1909,
and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling
me in this behalf, I, General Sir Charles Fergusson, Baronet,
Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby
revoke so much of the Proclamation dated the second day of
July, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-five, and
published in the New Zealand Gazette No. 51, of the ninth day
of the same month, taking land for a further portion of the
East Coast Main Trunk Railway (Napier Northwards) portions
of Putorino and Mohaka Sections, and for road-diversions
in connection therewith and a road approach thereto, as
affects the land described in the Schedule hereto, such land
being no longer required.

particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 61750,
deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at
Wellington, in the Wellington Land District, and thereon
coloured red.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-
General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued
under the Seal of that Dominion, this 23rd day of
October, 1926.

A PROCLAMATION.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities
vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1908, and the
Public Works Amendment Act, 1909, and of every other
power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf,
I, General Sir Charles Fergusson, Baronet, Governor-
General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby
declare the land described in the Schedule hereto to be
Crown land subject to the Land Act, 1924.
SCHEDULE.
APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land declared to be Crown
land: 1 rood.
Being part R.S. 587, Block IX, Teviotdale Survey District.
In the Canterbury Land District; as the same is more
particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 67089,
deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at
Wellington, in the Wellington Land District, and thereon
edged red.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-
General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued
under the Seal of that Dominion, this 23rd day of

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities
vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1908, and of
every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in
this behalf, I, General Sir Charles Fergusson, Baronet, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby
proclaim as stopped the Government roads described in the
Schedule hereto, such roads being no longer required.

Authorizing the Laying-off of a Street in the City of Wellington
of a width of less than 66 ft., but not less than 43 ft. 3 in.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government Buildings at Wellington, this 18th day of
October, 1926.

THE HONOURABLE W. DOWNIE STEWART PRESIDING IN
COUNCIL.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in him by
the Municipal Corporations Act, 1920, and of all other
powers in anywise enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency
the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand,
acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive
Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby authorize the
Wellington City Council to permit the laying-off of the street
described in the Schedule hereto of a width less than sixty-
six feet, but not less than forty-three feet three inches, it
being inexpedient to lay off such street of a width of sixty-six
feet.
SCHEDULE.
THAT portion of street in the Wellington Land District, City
of Wellington, being an extension of Florence Street, con-
taining by admeasurement 5·2 perches, more or less, through
