Allocating Cost of certain Proceedings under Section 132 of the Municipal Corporations Act, 1920, Borough of Gisborne.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government Buildings at Wellington, this 18th day of October, 1926.
Present:
THE HONOURABLE W. DOWNIE STEWART PRESIDING IN COUNCIL.
IN pursuance of the powers vested in him by section one hundred and thirty-two of the Municipal Corporations Act, 1920, and of every other power and authority enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby direct that the Gisborne Borough Council and the Cook County Council shall defray in equal proportions all the costs of the Commission appointed under the said Act by Warrants under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General dated the twenty-third day of June, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-six, the fifth day of August, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-six, and the eleventh day of August, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-six, to inquire and report upon the proposal to exclude an area from the Borough of Gisborne and include such area in the County of Cook.

IN pursuance of the powers vested in him by section one hundred and thirty-two of the Municipal Corporations Act, 1920, and of every other power and authority enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby direct that the One Tree Hill Road Board shall defray all the costs of the Commission appointed under the said Act by a Warrant under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General dated the twenty-fifth day of May, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-six, to inquire and report upon the proposal to exclude a certain area from the County of Eden and to include such area in the Borough of Onehunga.

Consenting to the Raising of Loans by certain Local Authorities.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government Buildings at Wellington, this 18th day of October, 1926.

THE HONOURABLE W. DOWNIE STEWART PRESIDING IN COUNCIL.
WHEREAS application has been made under section twenty, subsection one, of the Finance Act, 1919, for the precedent consent of the Governor-General in Council to enable the several local authorities mentioned in the Schedule hereto to borrow the sums set out therein, and it is expedient that such consent should issue:
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby consent to the raising of the loans hereinafter mentioned by the several local authorities set out in the Schedule hereto, and it is hereby declared that this Order in Council is made under the provisions in that behalf of the Finance Act, 1919, and shall operate accordingly as a consent of the Governor-General in Council to the raising of the said loans.
SCHEDULE.
Auckland City Council (for the development, extension, and improvement of the waterworks) £200,000
Auckland City Council (for the formation and improvement of various streets and the provision of plant, &c.) £200,000
Ashburton Electric-power Board (for completing electric works) £29,650
Greytown Borough Council (for providing two workers' dwellings) £1,350
Kawhia County Council (for metalling a portion of the Oparau Block Road) £300
Wanganui Hospital Board (for installing a steam heating and cooking system) £14,000
Wairarapa Electric-power Board (for electric works in the Longbush Special-rating Area) £3,500
Waitemata County Council (for providing a water-supply at Motutara) £650
Waitomo Electric-power Board (for the purchase and installation of electric and other equipment for consumers) £20,000

Declaring a Road in Block V, Paritutu Survey District, to be under the Control and Management of the New Plymouth Borough Council.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government Buildings at Wellington, this 18th day of October, 1926.
Present:
THE HONOURABLE W. DOWNIE STEWART PRESIDING IN COUNCIL.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in him by the Public Works Act, 1908, and of all other powers in anyway enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby order and declare that the road described in the Schedule hereto shall, on and after the date of this Order in Council, be under the control and management of the New Plymouth Borough Council.
SCHEDULE.
ALL that road in the Taranaki Land District, Borough of New Plymouth, formerly part Purakau No. 1 Block, Block V, Paritutu Survey District, proclaimed as a public road under the Native Land Amendment Act, 1913, by a Proclamation dated the 26th October, 1925, and published in New Zealand Gazette No. 76, page 3040, of the 29th October, 1925. As the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 67363, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, in the Wellington Land District; and thereon coloured red.
