NOTICE is hereby given that by a special resolution dated
the 1st day of October, 1926, it was resolved that the
N.Z. BACON AND MEAT PACKING COMPANY (LIMITED) be wound
up voluntarily, and that THOMAS McLAREN of Wellington,
Bank Officer, be appointed Liquidator.

MANUKAU COUNTY COUNCIL.
MANUKAU COUNTY PAPAKURA AND WAIROA RIDINGS LOAN
OF £10,500, 1926.—RESOLUTION STRIKING SPECIAL RATE.
IN pursuance and in exercise of the powers vested in it in
that behalf by the Local Bodies' Loans Act, 1913, and of
all other powers (if any) it thereunto enabling, the Manukau
County Council hereby resolves as follows :—
That for the purpose of providing for the payment of interest,
sinking fund, and other charges on the Manukau County
Papakura and Wairoa Ridings Loan of £10,500, 1926, authorized to be raised by the Manukau County Council under the
above-mentioned Act, for the purpose of regrading, culverting,
draining, providing foundations and shoulders, constructing
and paving with cement concrete, and completing the whole
of that portion of the Great South Road Main Highway,
situated within the boundaries of the Papakura Riding of the
County of Manukau (£10,500), the said Manukau County
Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of one-sixth
(⅙) of a penny in the pound sterling on the rateable value
(on the basis of the capital value) of all rateable property in
the whole of the Papakura and Wairoa Ridings of the County
of Manukau; and that such special rate shall be an annually
recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable
yearly on the 1st day of August in each and every year during
the currency of such loan, being a period of thirty-six and a
half (36½) years, or until the loan is fully paid off.

THE HENDERSON TOWN BOARD.
RESOLUTION MAKING A SPECIAL RATE.
IN pursuance and in exercise of the powers vested in it in
that behalf by the Local Bodies' Loans Act, 1913, and of
all other powers (if any) it thereunto enabling, the Henderson
Town Board hereby resolves as follows :—
That, for the purpose of providing for the payment of
interest, sinking fund, and other charges on the Henderson
Town Board Town Hall Loan of £5,500, 1926, authorized to
be raised by the Henderson Town Board under the above-
mentioned Act, for the purpose of the erection and completion
of a town hall for the district, with and including offices, shops,
and conveniences, and the carrying-out and completion of all
works and matters incidental thereto, the said Board hereby
makes and levies a special rate of one (1) penny and one-eighth
(⅛) of a penny in the pound sterling on the rateable value
(on the basis of the unimproved value) of all rateable property
in the whole of the Henderson Town District; and that such
special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the
currency of such loan, and be payable yearly on the 1st day of
May in each and every year during the currency of such loan,
being a period of thirty-six and a half (36½) years, or until
the loan is fully paid off.

UPLAND ROAD BRIDGE LOAN, £150.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that
behalf by the Local Bodies' Loans Act, 1913, the Ingle-
wood County Council hereby resolves as follows :—
That, for the purpose of providing the instalments of interest
and principal and any other charges on the said loan of £150
authorized to be raised by the Inglewood County Council under
the Local Bodies' Loans Act, 1913, and any amendments there-
to, for the purpose of erecting one bridge on Upland Road,
the Inglewood County Council hereby makes and levies a
special rate of thirty one-hundredths (30/100ths) part of a
penny in the pound sterling upon the rateable value (on the
basis of the unimproved value) of all rateable property of the
Upland Road Bridge Special-rating Area, comprising the
following properties: Sections 56 and 57, Block X, Paritutu
Survey District, 120 acres; Section 68, Block XI, Paritutu
Survey District, 60 acres ; Section 69, Block XI, Paritutu
Survey District, 60 acres; Section 63, Block III, Egmont

Rugby Road, the Inglewood County Council hereby makes
and levies a special rate of forty one-hundredths (40/100ths)
part of a penny in the pound sterling upon the rateable value
(on the basis of the unimproved value) of all rateable property
of the Rugby Road Bridges Special-rating Area, comprising the
following properties within Block V, Huiroa Survey District—
i.e., Sections 79, 30, 81, and 82, 109 acres 3 roods 25 perches ;
Section 94, 188 acres 3 roods 9 perches ; Section 92, 111 acres ;
Section 89, 109 acres ; Section 85, 55 acres 2 roods 6 perches ;

LOWER HUTT BOROUGH COUNCIL.
WATER-SUPPLY, SEWERAGE, AND SURFACE-DRAINAGE LOAN,
1926 (£6,000).—RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that
behalf by the Local Bodies' Loans Act, 1913, the Lower
Hutt Borough Council hereby resolves as follows :—
That, for the purpose of providing the interest, sinking
fund, and other charges on a loan of £6,000, authorized to be
raised by the Lower Hutt Borough Council under the above-
mentioned Act, for water-supply, sewerage, and surface-
water drainage, the said Lower Hutt Borough Council hereby
makes and levies a special rate of forty-seven four-hundredths
of a penny in the pound sterling upon the rateable value (on
the basis of the unimproved value) of all rateable property
of the Borough of Lower Hutt ; and that such special rate
shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the
said loan, and be payable yearly on the 1st day of April in
each and every year during the currency of such loan, being
a period of twenty (20) years, or until the loan is fully paid off.
