In the matter of the Companies Act, 1908; and in the matter of FRANKISH, BELLAMY, and COMPANY (LIMITED).
NOTICE is hereby given that at an extraordinary general meeting of the members of the above-named company duly convened and held at Wanganui on the thirtieth day of September, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-six, the following resolution was passed in manner prescribed by subsection (6) of section 168 of the Companies Act, 1908:—
Resolution.—“That the company of FRANKISH, BELLAMY, and COMPANY (LIMITED) be wound up voluntarily as from this date.”
At the same meeting the following resolution was also passed:—
Resolution.—“That Mr. F. W. PURKIS be appointed Liquidator.”

GUARDIAN, TRUST, AND EXECUTORS COMPANY OF NEW ZEALAND (LIMITED).
I, JOHN MAYNARD STOKES, Manager of the Guardian, Trust, and Executors Company of New Zealand (Limited), do solemnly and sincerely declare:—
- That the liability of the members is limited.
- That the capital of the company is £100,000, divided into 20,000 shares of £5 each.
- That the number of shares issued is 20,000.
- That calls to the amount of three pounds (£3) per share on 2,500 shares and three shillings (3s.) per share on 17,500 shares have been made, under which the sum of £10,125 has been received.
- That the amount of all moneys received on account of estates on the 1st day of July last is £2,449,864 10s.
- That the amount of all moneys paid on account of estates on that day is £2,435,920 1s. 6d.
- That the amount of the balances due to estates under administration on that day is £13,944 8s. 6d.
- That the liabilities of the company as on the 1st day of July last were £11,480.
- That the contingent liabilities of the company on deposits on the 1st day of July last were nil.
- That the assets of the company on that day were £26,688 10s. 7d.
- That the first annual license was issued on the 10th day of March, 1911.
And I make this solemn declaration conscientiously believing the same to be true, and by virtue of the provisions of an Act of the General Assembly of New Zealand intituled the Justices of the Peace Act, 1908.

WHAKATANE COUNTY COUNCIL.
NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND.
In the matter of the Counties Act, 1920, and of the Public Works Act, 1908.
NOTICE is hereby given that the Whakatane County Council proposes, under the provisions of the above-mentioned Acts, to execute a certain public work—namely, the widening of a road; and for the purposes of such public work the lands described in the Schedule hereto are required to be taken: And notice is hereby further given that a plan of the lands so required to be taken is deposited in the public office of the said Whakatane County Council situated at Whakatane, and is open for inspection without fee by all persons during ordinary office hours.
All persons affected by the execution of the said public work or by the taking of such lands, who have any well-grounded objections to the execution of the said public work or to the taking of the said lands, must state their objections in writing, and send the same within forty (40) days from the first publication of this notice, to the Clerk of the said Council at the said office.

DISSOLUTION OF PARTNERSHIP.
TAKE notice that the Partnership now existing between FRANK OGILVIE CARBINES and WILLIAM JOHN CARBINES, trading as Butter-merchants and Milk-vendors at Ponsonby Road and elsewhere in or around the City of Auckland, under the style or firm of “F. and W. Carbines,” will be determined and stand dissolved as from the thirtieth day of September, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-six.

NOTICE is hereby given that at a general meeting of the above-named company duly convened and held at Wellington on Wednesday, the 6th day of October, 1926, it was resolved that the company go into voluntary liquidation, and that CHARLES MOORE-BOWDEN, of Lambton Quay, Public Accountant, be appointed Liquidator for the purposes of such winding-up.

CHANGE OF NAME.
I, ROBERT DAY, formerly of Colac, Victoria, Boarding-house-keeper, but now of Motumaoho, in the Provincial District of Auckland, heretofore called and known by the name of “Robert Sheedy,” hereby give public notice that on the twenty-third day of July, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-six, by deed-poll then duly executed by me, and on the fourth day of October, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-six, enrolled with the Registrar of the Supreme Court at Hamilton, I formally and absolutely renounced and abandoned the use of my said surname of “Sheedy,” and in lieu thereof assumed and adopted the surname of “Day.”

RESOLUTION.
THE following regulations were laid before the members of the Masterton Racing Club at a meeting held on the 29th day of September, 1926, at Masterton, with a recommendation by the Chairman of such club, Mr. J. Iorns, that the same be passed at once with a view to their approval by His Excellency the Governor-General in pursuance of the Gaming Act, 1908, section 33.
Mr. J. Iorns, the Chairman of such club and the meeting, moved, and Mr. F. Dorset seconded, and it was resolved, That such regulations should be adopted, and that the Chairman and Secretary be authorized to sign the same in authentication thereof.
The following are the regulations referred to:—
