The Northern Side of Portion of Butt Street, in the City of Wellington, exempted from the Provisions of Section 117 of the Public Works Act, 1908, subject to a Condition as to the Building-line.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.

At the Government House at Wellington, this 6th day of September, 1926.

Present:

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by the Public Works Act, 1908, and of all other powers in anyway enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby approve of the following resolution passed by the Wellington City Council on the twenty-seventh day of May, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-six, viz.:—

"The Wellington City Council, being the local authority having control of the streets in the City of Wellington, hereby declares that the provisions of section one hundred and seventeen of the Public Works Act, 1908, shall not apply to the northern side of all that portion of Butt Street beginning at its junction with Happy Valley Road, and extending for a distance of approximately 246·91 links, being part of road fronting Lot 2 (D.P. 52), part of Section 15, Ohiro Registration District, Block X, Port Nicholson Survey District";

subject to the condition that no building or part of a building shall at any time be erected on the land fronting the northern side of the portion of Butt Street (described in the Schedule hereto), within a distance of thirty-three feet from the centre-line of the said portion of street.

SCHEDULE.

The northern side of all that portion of street, situated in the Wellington Land District, City of Wellington, known as Butt Street, fronting part of Lot 2 (D.P. 52), being part Section 15, Ohiro Registration District, Block X, Port Nicholson Survey District. As the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 66400, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, in the Wellington Land District, and thereon coloured red.

The South-western Side of Portion of Waerenga Road, in the Borough of Otaki, exempted from the Provisions of Section 117 of the Public Works Act, 1908, subject to a Condition as to the Building-line.

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by the Public Works Act, 1908, and of all other powers in anyway enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby approve of the following resolution passed by the Otaki Borough Council on the tenth day of June, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-six, viz.:—

"That the Otaki Borough Council hereby resolves that the provisions of section one hundred and seventeen of the Public Works Act, 1908, shall not apply to that portion of Waerenga Road, situated in the Borough of Otaki, upon which abuts that piece of land being part Waerenga Block Number 7B, Block IX, Waitohu Survey District, and being part of the land in certificate of title, Volume 46; folio 197, and being Lot 1 on a subdivisional plan dated April, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-six, prepared by C. W. Foster, Surveyor, Levin";

subject to the condition that no building or part of a building shall at any time be erected on the land fronting the south-western side of the portion of Waerenga Road (described in the Schedule hereto), within a distance of thirty-three feet from the centre-line of the said portion of street.

SCHEDULE.

The south-western side of all that portion of street, situated in the Wellington Land District, Borough of Otaki, known as Waerenga Road, fronting Lot 1 of a Subdivision of Waerenga No. 7B, Block IX, Waitohu Survey District. As the said portion of street is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 66184, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, in the Wellington Land District, and thereon coloured red.

The North-western Side of Portion of Lombard Street, in the Borough of Greymouth, exempted from the Provisions of Section 117 of the Public Works Act, 1908, subject to a Condition as to the Building-line.

Present:

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by the Public Works Act, 1908, and of all other powers in anyway enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby approve of the following resolution passed by the Greymouth Borough Council on the twenty-second day of July, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-six, viz.:—

"The Greymouth Borough Council, having control of Lombard Street, by resolution declares that the provisions of section one hundred and seventeen of the Public Works Act, 1908, shall not apply to that part of the said street fronting Subdivisions 1 and 2 of Section 203A";

subject to the condition that no building or part of a building shall at any time be erected on the land fronting the north-western side of the portion of Lombard Street (described in the Schedule hereto), within a distance of twenty-five feet from the centre-line of the said portion of street.

SCHEDULE.

The north-western side of all that portion of street, situated in the Westland Land District, Borough of Greymouth, known as Lombard Street, fronting Subdivisions 1 and 2 of Sections 203A and 201A, Borough of Greymouth. As the said portion of street is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 66749, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, in the Wellington Land District, and thereon coloured red.

Prohibiting all Alienation of certain Native Land other than Alienation in favour of the Crown.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.

At the Government House at Wellington, this 6th day of September, 1926.

Present:

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.

ON the recommendation of the Native Land Purchase Board, referred to in section three hundred and sixty-three of the Native Land Act, 1909, and in exercise of the power in this behalf conferred upon him by that section, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby prohibit, for the period of one year from the date of this Order in Council, all alienation of the Native land specified in the Schedule hereto other than alienation in favour of the Crown.

SCHEDULE.

PUKEIAPU Block, Kumeu Survey District, Blocks I, II, and V: Approximate area, 7,345 acres.
