HAURAKI PLAINS COUNTY COUNCIL.
Waitakaruru–Maukoro Canal Road Loan, £1,000.
PURSUANT to section 12 of the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1913, I hereby give notice that at a poll of the ratepayers of the Waitakaruru–Maukoro Canal Road Loan Special-rating Area taken on the 30th day of September, 1925, on the proposal of the Hauraki Plains County Council to borrow the sum of £1,000 for the construction of the Waitakaruru–Maukoro Canal Road in the said area,—
The number of votes recorded for the proposal was 18; the number of votes recorded against the proposal was nil.
I therefore declare that the proposal was carried.
Hauraki Plains West Water-supply District Loan, £50,000.
Pursuant to section 12 of the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1913, I hereby give notice that at a poll of the ratepayers of the Hauraki Plains West Water-supply District taken on the 10th day of September, 1925, on the proposal of the Hauraki Plains County Council to borrow the sum of £50,000 for the construction of waterworks in the said area,—
The number of votes recorded for the proposal was 97; the number of votes recorded against the proposal was 28.
I therefore declare that the proposal was carried.
Netherton Roads Loan (1925) of £29,500.
Pursuant to section 12 of the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1913, I hereby give notice that at a poll of the ratepayers of the Netherton Roads Loan (1925) Special-rating Area, taken on the 14th day of September, 1925, on the proposal of the Hauraki Plains County Council to borrow the sum of £29,500 for the construction of roads in the said area,—
The number of votes recorded for the proposal was 95; the number of votes recorded against the proposal was 9.
I therefore declare that the proposal was carried.

TAURANGA COUNTY COUNCIL.
Loan of £2,800.
PURSUANT to section 12 of the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1913, I hereby give notice that a poll of the ratepayers of the Tauriko Special-rating Area of the County of Tauranga was taken on the 10th day of November, 1925, upon the proposal of the Tauranga County Council to raise a special loan of £2,800 for purpose of (a) Metalling the Tauranga–Matamata Highway from the junction of the Pyes Pa Road to the Ruahihi Bridge, £2,580; (b) first year’s interest and sinking fund and cost of raising the loan, £220.
The number of votes recorded for the proposal was 37; the number of votes recorded against the proposal was 1.
I therefore declare that the proposal was carried.
Loan of £3,500.
PURSUANT to section 12 of the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1913, I hereby give notice that a poll of the ratepayers of the Katikati Riding of the County of Tauranga was taken on the 24th day of October, 1925, on the proposal of the Tauranga County Council to borrow £3,500 for metalling road from Tuapiro to county boundary and crusher plant.
The number of votes recorded for the proposal was 68; the number of votes recorded against the proposal was 17.
I therefore declare that the proposal was carried.

IN pursuance and exercise of the power and authority conferred by the 63rd section of the Licensing Act, 1908, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand has been pleased to appoint the local bodies named in the Schedule hereto to have authority for purposes of the Licensing Act throughout the licensing districts respectively named in the said Schedule opposite the name of each such local body respectively, and to make all necessary appointments and to do all things required for the conduct of elections or the taking of a poll of electors, and to have the general administration of the Licensing Act within such licensing districts respectively.
