Special meetings may be convened by the Chairman, provided that two days' notice of such meeting is given to each member, specifying the business to be transacted at such special meeting; and no other business than that so specified shall be transacted at such meeting.

Any three members of the Board shall form a quorum. Any meeting may be adjourned from time to time.

All questions shall be determined by the majority of votes of the members of the Board present at the meeting.

If at any meeting the Chairman is not present at the time appointed for holding the same, the members present shall choose one of their number to be Chairman for such meeting.

If, by resignation, death, incapacity, or otherwise, the seat of any member shall be or become vacant, or if any member absents himself, without reasonable cause, from three consecutive meetings of the Board, the Governor-General shall have power to appoint any other person to be a member of the Board in his stead.

The Board shall prepare and submit at an annual meeting to be held in the month of April in each year a report of the proceedings of the Board for the previous year ending on the thirty-first day of March, together with a statement of the receipts and expenditure of the Board for such year. A copy of every such report and statement, certified by the Chairman to be correct, shall be sent to the Minister in Charge of Scenery Preservation as soon as possible after each annual meeting.

The Board shall control the said reserve in accordance with the provisions of the said Act and of the regulations made thereunder.
SCHEDULE.
PARR'S PARK SCENIC RESERVE.
ALL that area in the North Auckland Land District, containing by admeasurement 16 acres 2 roods, more or less, being portion Allotment 14, Waipareira Parish. As the same is more particularly delineated on plan marked L. and S. 4/363, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon edged red.
As witness the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General, this 29th day of January, 1926.

Vesting the Control of Scenic Reserves in the Dunedin City Council.
CHARLES FERGUSSON, Governor-General.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon him by section thirteen of the Scenery Preservation Act, 1908 (hereinafter referred to as "the said Act"), His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand doth hereby vest the control of the scenic reserves described in the Schedule hereto (being lands reserved under the said Act) in the Dunedin City Council, subject to the conditions hereinafter contained, that is to say:-

The period for which the control of the reserves is hereby vested shall be five years from the date hereof, unless the reservation is previously altered or revoked under the said Act.

The said Council shall prepare a report each year ending on the thirty-first day of March, together with a statement of receipts and expenditure in connection with the said reserves. Such report and statement shall be sent to the Minister charged with the administration of the said Act as soon as possible after the close of the year.

The said Council shall control the said reserves in accordance with the provisions of the said Act and of the regulations made thereunder.
SCHEDULE.
WAIPORI FALLS SCENIC RESERVES.
ALL that area in the Otago Land District, containing by admeasurement 1,262 acres, more or less, being Sections Nos. 54 and 55, Block XV, Maungatua Survey District, and Section No. 7, Block X, Waipori Survey District. Bounded towards the north-west by Section No. 6, Block X, Waipori Survey District, a distance of 5264.2 links ; towards the north by part of Section No. 7, Block VIII, Waipori Survey District, the crossing of a road-line, and by part of Section No. 11, Block XIII, Maungatua Survey District, a distance of 5805.5 links ; towards the north-east generally by Section No. 53, Block XV, Maungatua Survey District, a distance of 10788.5 links, and by a public road, a distance of 18677.5 links ; towards the south generally by a public road fronting the Waipori River, a distance of 34820 links ; and towards the
south-west by Crown lands, a distance of 5287 links : excepting three road-lines, each 100 links wide, which intersect the above-described area : be all the aforesaid linkages more or less. As the same is delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 437/20, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon bordered red.
Also all that area in the Otago Land District, containing by admeasurement 1,540 acres, more or less, being the bush land situated in Run No. 51A, Waipori Survey District. As the same is delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 437, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon bordered red.
Also all that area in the Otago Land District, containing by admeasurement 366 acres, more or less, being Section 10, Block X, Waipori Survey District. Bounded towards the north by Section 8, 5705.3 links ; towards the north-east by Section 6, 2479 links, Section 7 and river-bank reserve, 5638.4 links ; towards the south and south-west generally by the Waipori River, 14200 links ; again towards the south-west by Section 9 and river-bank reserve, 861.9 links ; towards the west by the Waipori River, 3100 links : be all the aforesaid linkages more or less. As the same is delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 437a, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon bordered red.

Lands temporarily reserved in the North Auckland and Nelson Land Districts.

WHEREAS by the three-hundred-and-fifty-ninth section of the Land Act, 1924, it is enacted that the Governor-General may from time to time, either by general or particular description, and whether the same has been surveyed or not, reserve from sale temporarily, notwithstanding that the same may be then held under pastoral license, any Crown lands which in his opinion are required for any of the purposes mentioned :
Now, therefore, I, General Sir Charles Fergusson, Baronet, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon me by the said Act, do hereby temporarily reserve from sale the lands in the North Auckland and Nelson Land Districts described in the Schedule hereunder written, for the purposes in the said Schedule specified at the end of the respective descriptions of the lands so intended to be temporarily reserved.
SCHEDULE.
NORTH AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT.
ALL that area in the North Auckland Land District, containing by admeasurement 2 roods 35 perches, more or less, being portion Aotearoa Block, situated in Block V, Kaipara Survey District, and bounded as follows : Commencing at the north-easternmost corner of Lot 1 as shown on plan No. 8688, deposited at the office of the District Land Registrar at Auckland, bounded towards the north by a public road, 130 links ; thence towards the north-east by the Kaipara Harbour for a distance of 550 links ; thence towards the south by a line drawn to the most easterly point of the aforementioned Lot 1 ; and from thence towards the south-west by the north-eastern boundary of the said Lot 1, 676.3 links, to the point of commencement : be all the aforesaid linkages more or less. As the same is more particularly delineated on plan marked L. and S. 1/478, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon edged red. For recreation purposes.
NELSON LAND DISTRICT.
All that area in the Nelson Land District, containing by admeasurement 36 perches, more or less, being part of Section 2 of 13, Block VIII, Kaiteriteri Survey District. Bounded towards the north by a public road, 124.8 links ; and on the east, south, and west by remaining portion of said Section 2 of 13, 145.1 links, 135.1 links, and 217.6 links respectively : be all the aforesaid linkages more or less. As the same is delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 6/6/435, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon bordered green. For a public-school site (Sandy Bay).
