SCHEDULE.
THE south-eastern side of all that portion of street situated in the Wellington Land District (City of Wellington), known as Hawkestone Crescent, fronting Lots 1 and 3, D.P. 3284, being parts of Town Sections 551 and 553, City of Wellington. As the said portion of street is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 65176, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, in the Wellington Land District, and thereon coloured pink.

At the Government Buildings at Wellington, this 27th day of January, 1926.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by the Public Works Act, 1908, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby approve of the following resolution passed by the Auckland City Council on the twenty-sixth day of November, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-five, viz. :—
“ That the Auckland City Council, having control of France Street, Auckland, by resolution declares that the provisions of section one hundred and seventeen of the Public Works Act, 1908, shall not apply to that part of the said street fronting parts Lots 54 and 55 of part Allotment 8, and part Lot 23 of part Allotment 7, Section 7, Suburbs of Auckland ”;
such portion of street being described in the Schedule hereto.

THE western side of all that portion of street, situated in the North Auckland Land District, City of Auckland, known as France Street, abutting on Lots 54 and 55 of Allotment 8 and part Lot 23 of Allotment 7, Section 7, Suburbs of Auckland. As the said portion of street is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 64918, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, in the Wellington Land District, and thereon coloured red.

The South-eastern Side of Portion of Roxburgh Street, in the City of Wellington, exempted from the Provisions of Section 111 of the Public Works Act, 1908.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by the Public Works Act, 1908, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby approve of the following resolution passed by the Wellington City Council on the twelfth day of November, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-five, viz. :—
“ The Wellington City Council, being the local authority having control of the streets in the City of Wellington, hereby declares that the provisions of section one hundred and seventeen of the Public Works Act, 1908, shall not apply to the south-eastern side of that portion of Roxburgh Street beginning at a point approximately 95·0 links from the south-western boundary of Town Section 378 and extending for a distance of approximately 84·85 links, being part of street fronting Town Section 377, City of Wellington ”;
such portion of street being described in the Schedule hereto.

Arrangements for First Election of Elective Members of the Ohinemuri Licensing Committee.

IN pursuance and exercise of the power and authority vested in me by section ten of the Licensing Amendment Act, 1910, I, General Sir Charles Fergusson, Baronet, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby appoint Tuesday, the ninth day of March, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-six, to be the date for the holding of the first election of the five elective members of the Ohinemuri Licensing Committee.
As witness the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General, this 3rd day of February, 1926.

Appointing a Day for the First Election of the Elective Commissioners of the Ashley River Trust.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by subsection one of section six of the Ashley River Improvement Act, 1925, I, General Sir Charles Fergusson, Baronet, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby appoint Thursday, the twenty-fifth day of February, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-six, as the day on which shall be held the first election of the elective Commissioners of the Ashley River Trust.
As witness the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General, this 2nd day of February, 1926.

Notifying Lands in Canterbury Land District for Sale by Public Auction for Cash or on Deferred Payments.

IN pursuance of the powers and authorities conferred upon me by section one hundred and thirty-two of the Land Act, 1924, I, General Sir Charles Fergusson, Baronet, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby appoint Tuesday, the sixteenth day of March, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-six, as the time at which the lands described in the Schedule hereto shall be sold by public auction for cash or on deferred payments ; and I do hereby fix the price at which the said lands shall be sold as those mentioned in the said Schedule hereto.

Situated about fifteen miles from Waihao Forks Railway-station. Watered by springs. Fair grazing country, about two-thirds lying southerly ; balance lies fairly well to the sun.
Section 36409, Blocks III, IV, VII, and VIII. Area: 128 acres ; upset price, £150.
Situated about twenty miles from Waihao Forks Railway-station. Watered by springs and stream. Very steep, lying to the sun.
