DISSOLUTION OF PARTNERSHIP.

THE Partnership heretofore existing between WILLIAM WHITTAKER and JOSEPH BIRD, who formerly carried on business as Builders and Contractors, has been dissolved by mutual consent. The Partnership has been dissolved now for some twelve months.

In the matter of the FIRTH PUMICE COMPANY (LIMITED).

NOTICE is hereby given that at an extraordinary general meeting of the members of the above-named company duly convened and held at Auckland on the 2nd day of August, 1926, the following extraordinary resolution was duly passed :—

That it has been proved to the satisfaction of this meeting that the company cannot, by reason of its liabilities, continue its business, and that it is advisable to wind up the same, and accordingly that the company be wound up voluntarily, and that Messrs. MORRIS, DUNCAN, AND GYLLIES, of Auckland, Public Accountants, be and they are hereby appointed Liquidators for the purposes of such winding-up.

BAY OF ISLANDS COUNTY COUNCIL.

NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND FOR A ROAD.

PUBLIC notice is hereby given that the Bay of Islands County Council proposes under the provisions of the Public Works Act, 1908, to execute a certain public work—to wit, the construction of a road through Marutuna A, B,

Nos. 1, 2, and 3 Blocks, and Section 3, Block X, Omapere Survey District ; and for the purposes of such public work to take the land described in the Schedule hereto. And notice is further given that the said Bay of Islands County Council has caused a survey to be made and a plan to be prepared showing the lands required to be taken, together with the names of the owners and occupiers of such land as far as they can be ascertained. A copy of such plan is deposited at the County Office, Kawakawa, and is open to inspection by all persons at all reasonable hours. And notice is hereby also given that all persons affected by the taking of such land are called upon to set forth in writing any well-grounded objections to the execution of such work or to the taking of the said land, and to send such writing within forty days from the 5th day of August, 1926 (being the date of the first publication of this notice) to the Bay of Islands County Council at its office, Albert Street, Kawakawa.
