WAITOMO ELECTRIC-POWER BOARD.

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE.

I N pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1913, the Waitomo Electric-power Board hereby resolves as follows :—

That, for the purpose of providing the interest and other charges on a loan of £7,000 (seven thousand pounds) being ten per cent. additional on a loan of £70,000 (seventy thousand pounds) which latter loan was authorized to be raised by a poll of ratepayers taken on the 6th day of February, 1925, and which is found to be insufficient to complete the undertaking for which it was raised, the said Waitomo Electric-power Board hereby makes and levies a special rate of ⅛d. (one-eighth of a penny in the pound upon the unimproved value of all rateable property in the Waitomo Electric-power Board District; and that such special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable yearly on the 1st day of September in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period not exceeding 36½ (thirty-six and a half) years, or until the loan is fully paid off.
