HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by
section forty of the Public Reserves and Domains Act,
1908, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion
of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent
of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby
appoint
Robert Percy Honnor,
Percy Harold Edward Surrey, and
Robert George Wells
to be the Huirangi Domain Board, having control of the land
described in the Schedule hereto; and doth hereby appoint
Wednesday, the first day of September, one thousand nine
hundred and twenty-six, at eight o’clock p.m., as the time
when, and the Huirangi Hall, as the place where, the first
meeting of the Board shall be held.

Education Act, 1914.—Amendment of Regulations relating
to the Election of Members of Education Boards.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House at Wellington, this 9th day of
August, 1926.
Present:
HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in him
under the provisions of the Education Act, 1914 (herein-
after referred to as “the Act”), and the amendments thereof,
and of all other powers and authorities enabling him in this
behalf, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion
of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent
of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby
make the amendments set out in the Schedule hereto in the
regulations in force relating to the election of members of
Education Boards; and doth prescribe that this Order
shall be deemed to have been in force from the first day of
March, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-six.

SCHEDULE.
ELECTION OF MEMBERS OF EDUCATION BOARDS.
CLAUSE 2 of the regulations made by Order in Council on the
7th May, 1918, is hereby revoked, and the following sub-
stituted therefor:—
“ (2.) The words ‘last preceding census’ in the definition
of ‘urban area’ in section 2 of the Act shall be deemed to
mean ‘the last census the results of which are published by
the Government Statistician previous to the public notifica-
tion of the names of the several wards and the schools situated
therein in accordance with section 14 of the Act.’ ”

The South-eastern Side of Portion of Emano Street, in the City
of Nelson, exempted from the Provisions of Section 117 of the
Public Works Act, 1908, subject to a Condition as to the
Building-line.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House at Wellington, this 9th day of
August, 1926.
Present:
HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by the
Public Works Act, 1908, and of all other powers in
anywise enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency the
Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting
by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council
of the said Dominion, doth hereby approve of the following
resolution passed by the Nelson City Council on the second
day of July, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-six,
viz.:—
“ That the Nelson City Council, being the local authority
having control of the street in the City of Nelson known as
Emano Street, hereby resolves that the provisions of sec-
tion one hundred and seventeen of the Public Works Act,
1908, shall not apply to that portion of the south-east side
of the said street fronting Lot 1, part Section 831, and
Lot 2, part of Sections 830 and 831 ”;
subject to the condition that no building or part of a building
shall at any time be erected on the land fronting the south-
eastern side of the portion of Emano Street (described in the
Schedule hereto) within a distance of thirty-three feet from
the centre-line of the said portion of street, such condition
being of the same effect as By-law No. 229 of the City of
Nelson By-law No. 1 (1916), Part VII, relating to building-
line.

SCHEDULE.
THE south-eastern side of all that portion of street in the
Nelson Land District, City of Nelson, known as Emano Street,
fronting Lot 1 of Section 831 and Lot 2 of Sections 830 and 831.
As the said portion of street is more particularly delineated
on the plan marked P.W.D. 66651, deposited in the office of
the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, in the Wellington
Land District, and thereon coloured red.

The North-eastern and North-western Side of Portion of Krull
Street, in the City of Wellington, exempted from the Provisions
of Section 117 of the Public Works Act, 1908, subject to a
Condition as to the Building-line.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by the
Public Works Act, 1908, and of all other powers in
anywise enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency the
Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting
by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council
of the said Dominion, doth hereby approve of the following
resolution passed by the Wellington City Council on the
fifteenth day of April, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-
six, viz.:—
“ The Wellington City Council, being the local authority
having control of the streets in the City of Wellington,
hereby declares that the provisions of section one hundred
and seventeen of the Public Works Act, 1908, shall not
apply to the north-eastern and north-western side of Krull
Street beginning at its junction with Whaui Street and ter-
minating at its junction with Moffitt Street, a distance of
approximately 900 links, being the part of the road fronting
Lots 249, 250, 251, 252, 253, and 301 (D.P. 52), Vogeltown,
part Section 15, Ohiro Registration District ”;
subject to the condition that no building or part of a building
shall at any time be erected on the land fronting the north-
eastern and north-western side of the portion of Krull Street
(described in the Schedule hereto), within a distance of thirty
feet from the centre-line of the said portion of street.
