Consenting to the Raising of Loans by certain Local Authorities.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House at Wellington, this 2nd day of August, 1926.
Present:
HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.
WHEREAS application has been made under section twenty, subsection one, of the Finance Act, 1919, for the precedent consent of the Governor-General in Council to enable the several local authorities mentioned in the Schedule hereto to borrow the sums set out therein, and it is expedient that such consent should issue:
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby consent to the raising of the loans hereinafter mentioned by the several local authorities set out in the Schedule hereto, and it is hereby declared that this Order in Council is made under the provisions in that behalf of the Finance Act, 1919, and shall operate accordingly as a consent of the Governor-General in Council to the raising of the said loans.
SCHEDULE.
Feilding Borough Council (for the purpose of providing relief-works for unemployed) .. .. £ 2,000
Pohangina County Council (for completing the erection of bridges in the Tamaki Riding) .. 75
New Lynn Town Board (for the purpose of providing relief-works for unemployed) .. .. .. 2,000
Waitotara County Council (for completing the metalling of the Rangitatau East Road) .. .. 5,000

Declaring Portion of the North Road, in the Piako County, to be a County Road.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House at Wellington, this 9th day of August, 1926.
Present:
HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in him by the Public Works Act, 1908, and of all other powers in anywise enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby order and declare that the portion of road described in the Schedule hereto shall, on and after the date of this Order in Council, become a county road.
SCHEDULE.
ALL that portion of road in the Auckland Land District, Piako County, known as the North Road, commencing at its junction with the West Road, and proceeding thence generally in a north-easterly direction, adjoining or passing through Section 6 and part Section 7, Block VI, Waiota Survey District, and terminating at a point approximately 2 chains east of the northernmost corner of the said Section 6; being a distance of 58 chains, more or less. As the said portion of road is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 65389, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, in the Wellington Land District, and thereon coloured red.

At the Government House at Wellington, this 9th day of August, 1926.
Present:
HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in him by the Public Works Act, 1908, and of all other powers in anywise enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby order and declare that the portion of road described in the Schedule hereto shall, on and after the date of this Order in Council, become a county road.
SCHEDULE.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by section forty of the Public Reserves and Domains Act, 1908, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby appoint
Arthur Hurtle Dodgson,
Michael Hennessy,
Charles John Hollard,
Patrick Joseph Mulhern,
William James Pilkington,
James McGregor, and
Walter Joseph Scott
to be the Hukutaia Domain Board, having control of the land described in the Schedule hereto; and doth hereby appoint Monday, the sixth day of September, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-six, at half-past seven o’clock p.m., as the time when, and the Woodlands Hall, Hukutaia, as the place where, the first meeting of the Board shall be held.

GISBORNE LAND DISTRICT.—HUKUTAIA DOMAIN.
SECTION 24s, Hukutaia Settlement, Block VI, Opotiki Survey District: Area, 11 acres 1 rood 17 perches, more or less.
