Directing Application of Moneys received in respect of Portion of the Ormond Domain, Gisborne Land District, for the Purposes of the Waihirere Domain.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.

At the Government House at Wellington, this 2nd day of August, 1926.

Present:

His Excellency the Governor-General in Council.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred by section three of the Public Reserves and Domains Amendment Act, 1925, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby direct that from the moneys received in respect of that portion of the Ormond Domain described in the First Schedule hereto and at the date hereof lying to the credit of the said portion a sum not exceeding three hundred pounds shall be applied in managing, administering, and improving the Waihirere Domain described in the Second Schedule hereto.


FIRST SCHEDULE.

GISBORNE LAND DISTRICT.—PART OF ORMOND DOMAIN.

ALL that area in Block I, Waimata Survey District, containing by admeasurement 107 acres 1 rood 5 perches, more or less, being the section marked “Bush Reserve,” and being the land referred to in the Order in Council dated 1st August, 1910, and published in Gazette No. 75, of the 4th of that month, page 3115.

Amending the New Zealand Reparation Estates Order, 1920.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.

At the Government House, at Wellington, this 2nd day of August, 1926.

Present:

His Excellency the Governor-General in Council.

HIS Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of that Dominion, and in pursuance of the authority in that behalf conferred upon him by the Treaties of Peace Act, 1919, the Western Samoa Order in Council, 1920, the Samoa Act, 1921, and all other powers and authorities enabling him in that behalf, doth hereby order as follows:—

  1. This Order may be cited as the New Zealand Reparation Estates Amendment Order, 1926 (No. 2), and shall be read with and form part of the New Zealand Reparation Estates Order, 1920 (hereinafter called the “principal Order”).

  2. In addition to the moneys directed to be paid into the New Zealand Reparation Estates Account pursuant to the provisions of the principal Order, there may be paid into that account any moneys from time to time held by the Samoan Public Trustee which have come into his hands under the provisions of the Ex-enemy Absentee Property (Samoa) Order, 1923.

  3. Any such payment shall be made in accordance with the direction of the Minister of External Affairs, and not otherwise; and such direction shall be deemed to be made under the provisions of clause twelve of the Ex-enemy Absentee Property (Samoa) Order, 1923.
