Schedule hereto to borrow the sums set out therein, and it is
expedient that such consent should issue:
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of
the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice
and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion,
doith hereby consent to the raising of the loans hereinafter
mentioned by the several local authorities set out in the
Schedule hereto, and it is hereby declared that this Order in
Council is made under the provisions in that behalf of the
Finance Act, 1919, and shall operate accordingly as a consent
of the Governor-General in Council to the raising of the said
loans.

Gisborne Borough Council (for the repayment of a

Declaring Portion of the Mapara South Road, in the Waitomo
County, to be a County Road.

At the Government House at Wellington, this 2nd day of August, 1926.
Present:
His Excellency THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in him by
the Public Works Act, 1908, and of all other powers in
anywise enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency the
Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting
by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council
of the said Dominion, doth hereby order and declare that the
portion of road described in the Schedule hereto shall, on and
after the date of this Order in Council, become a county road.
SCHEDULE.
ALL that portion of the Mapara South Road in the Taranaki
Land District, Waitomo County, commencing at a point 25 chains south of the boundary between Sections 31 and 32,
Block XII, Mapara Survey District, and proceeding thence
generally in a southerly direction adjoining or passing through
the said Section 32 and Section 34, Block XII, Mapara Survey
District, and terminating at a point on the boundary of the
said Section 34, about 28 chains north of its junction with the
Mangaiti Road; being a distance of 55 chains, more or less.
As the said portion of road is more particularly delineated
on the plan marked P.W.D. 66735, deposited in the office
of the Minister of Public Works, Wellington, in the Wellington
Land District, and thereon coloured red.

Declaring Portion of Whakamara Road, in the Taumarunui
County, to be a County Road.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in him by
the Public Works Act, 1908, and of all other powers
in anywise enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency the
Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting
by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council
of the said Dominion, doth hereby order and declare that
the portion of road described in the Schedule hereto shall,
on and after the date of this Order in Council, become a
county road.
SCHEDULE.
ALL that portion of road in the Taranaki Land District, Taumarunui County, known as Whakamaro Road, commencing
at its junction with the Kururau Road and proceeding thence
generally in a northerly direction, adjoining or passing through
Sections 3 and 4, and part Section 9, Block I, Piopiotea West
Survey District, and terminating at a point about 20 chains
north of the boundary between the said Sections 9 and 4;
being a distance of 1 mile 44 chains; more or less.
As the said portion of road is more particularly delineated on the plan
marked P.W.D. 66483, deposited in the office of the Minister
of Public Works at Wellington, in the Wellington Land District, and thereon coloured red.

Declaring Portions of the Motutara Settlement Road, in the Waitemata County, to be County Roads.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House at Wellington, this 2nd day of August, 1926.

His Excellency THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in him by
the Public Works Act, 1908, and of all other powers
in anywise enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency the
Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting
by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council
of the said Dominion, doth hereby order and declare that the
portions of roads described in the Schedule hereto shall, on and
after the date of this Order in Council, become county roads.
SCHEDULE.
ALL that portion of road in the North Auckland Land District,
Waitemata County, known as Motutara Settlement Road, com-
mencing at a point near the northernmost corner of Section 24,
Block IX, Kumeu Survey District, and proceeding thence gen-
erally in a south-westerly direction adjoining or passing through
the said Section 24 and Section 25, Block IX, Kumeu Survey
District, Section 26, Blocks IX and XI, Kumeu Survey District,
Section 27, part Section 14s, and school reserve, Block IX,
Kumeu Survey District, and terminating at a point on the
boundary between the said school reserve and Section 12s,
Block XI, Kumeu Survey District; being a distance of 2 miles
60 chains, more or less : marked A-C on plan.
Also all that portion of the said Motutara Settlement Road
commencing at a point on the boundary between Section 10s
and Section 12s, Block XI, Kumeu Survey District, and pro-
ceeding thence generally in a south-easterly direction, adjoining
or passing through part of the said Section 12s, and terminating
at its junction with the portion of Motutara Settlement Road
above described ; being a distance of 13 chains, more or less :
marked B-D on plan.
As the same are more particularly delineated on the plan
marked P.W.D. 66674, deposited in the office of the Minister
of Public Works at Wellington, in the Wellington Land District, and thereon coloured red.
