further that from and after the expiration of four years
from the date of this license (the 14th day of July, 1924)
the maximum charge for electrical energy shall not exceed
ls. per unit for lighting purposes and 6d. per unit for motor-
power, heating, or cooking purposes.'

Authorizing the Public Service Superannuation Board to invest
Moneys in Debentures issued by Electric-power Boards.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House at Wellington, this 12th day of
July, 1926.
Present:
His Excellency The Governor-General in Council.
IN pursuance and exercise of the power and authority con-
ferred upon him by subsection one of section five of the
Public Service Classification and Superannuation Amendment
Act, 1915, and on the recommendation of the Public Service
Superannuation Board, His Excellency the Governor-General
of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the
advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said
Dominion, doth hereby authorize the Public Service Super-
annuation Board to invest any part of the moneys for the
time being in the Public Service Superannuation Fund Account
in debentures issued by the Electric-power Board of any
electric-power district under the authority of section fifty-
three or section fifty-four of the Electric-power Boards Act,
1925, and secured upon special rates or partly on rates and
partly in some other manner.

Consenting to Bodies Corporate borrowing Money, and author-
izing Payment to Committees of Management.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House at Wellington, this 12th day of
July, 1926.
Present:
His Excellency The Governor-General in Council.
WHEREAS by section three hundred and thirty-five of
the Native Land Act, 1909, it is provided that, with
the precedent consent of the Governor-General in Council, a
body corporate constituted under Part XVII of the said Act
may, on the security of a mortgage or charge of the land
vested in it, borrow money for any of the purposes therein
mentioned:
And whereas the bodies corporate constituted as aforesaid
described in the Schedule hereto have applied for the pre-
cedent consent of the Governor-General in Council accordingly,
and also that consent be given to any money so borrowed
being paid to the committees of management of such bodies
corporate:
And whereas the Tairawhiti District Native Land Court
has recommended that such consent be granted, and it seems
expedient so to do :
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of the
Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and
consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth
hereby, pursuant to section three hundred and thirty-five of
the Native Land Act, 1909, and all other powers him enabling,
grant precedent consent to the said bodies corporate, on
the security of a mortgage or charge of the lands vested in
them, borrowing money from a State Loan Department or
from any person or body corporate, whether by cash credit in
current account with a bank or otherwise, for the purpose of
enabling the said bodies corporate to liquidate existing lia-
bilities in respect of, and to further improve and more
efficiently farm, the lands of the said bodies corporate, the
sums set out hereunder opposite the name of each such body
corporate; and doth authorize the payment of any money
so borrowed to the respective committees of management of
the said bodies corporate.

Declaring the Mangatoro Valley Road Deviation, in the Danne-
virke County, to be a County Road.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House at Wellington, this 12th day of
July, 1926.
Present:
His Excellency The Governor-General in Council.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in him by
the Public Works Act, 1908, and of all other powers in
anywise enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency the
Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting
by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council
of the said Dominion, doth hereby order and declare that the
road described in the Schedule hereto shall, on and after
the date of this Order in Council, become a county road.
SCHEDULE.
ALL that road in the Hawke's Bay Land District, Dannevirk
e County, known as the Mangatoro Valley Road Deviation,
commencing at its junction with the Mangatoro Valley Road
at a point on the south-eastern boundary of Section 4, Block
XII, Tahoraite Survey District, and proceeding thence
generally in a southerly direction, adjoining or passing through
part of the said Section 4, crossing the Mangatoro Stream, and
adjoining or passing through part Section 5, Block XII,
Tahoraite Survey District, and terminating at a point on the
south-eastern boundary of the said Section 5 where it rejoins
the Mangatoro Valley Road; being a distance of 10 chains,
more or less. As the said road is more particularly delineated
on the plan marked P.W.D. 66482, deposited in the office of
the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, in the Wellington
Land District, and thereon coloured red and marked A-B.
