At the Government House at Wellington, this 12th day of July, 1926.
Present :
HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in him by the Agricultural and Pastoral Societies Act, 1908, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby incorporate the members of the Mayfield Agricultural and Pastoral Association, and such persons as shall hereafter be admitted members of the said association agreeably to the rules of the said association and the provisions of the said Act, into a body corporate, under the style and title of “The Mayfield Agricultural and Pastoral Association.”

Withdrawing Land from the Operation of the Kauri-gum Industry Act, 1908.

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.
WHEREAS by section one hundred and sixty-two of the Land Act, 1924, it is enacted that the Governor-General may, by Order in Council gazetted, on the recommendation of the Land Board, declare that any land comprised in a kauri-gum reserve shall, from a date to be specified in the Order, cause to be subject to the Kauri-gum Industry Act, 1908, and on and after the date so specified the land to which the Order relates shall become subject to the provisions of the Land Act, 1924:
And whereas the Land Board of the North Auckland Land District has duly passed a resolution recommending that part of the Te Mata Kauri-gum Reserve Extension No. 2, as described in the Schedule hereto, be exempted from the operations of the Kauri-gum Industry Act, 1908, and it is expedient to give effect to such recommendation;
Now, therefore, I, General Sir Charles Fergusson, Baronet, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the power and authority conferred upon me by section one hundred and sixty-two of the Land Act, 1924, and acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby order and declare that part of the Te Mata Kauri-gum Reserve Extension No. 2, as described in the Schedule hereto, shall from the twenty-fourth day of July, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-six, cease to be subject to the Kauri-gum Industry Act, 1908.
SCHEDULE.
ALL that area in the North Auckland Land District, containing by admeasurement 75 acres, more or less, being Sections 16, 22, and 23, Block VI, Hukerenui Survey District, and being portion of the Te Mata Kauri-gum Reserve Extension No. 2, as described in the New Zealand Gazette of 1899, page 1555. As the same is more particularly delineated on plan marked L. and S. 9/1708, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon coloured red.

Amendments to the Regulations under the Government Railways Act, 1908.

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred on him by the Government Railways Act, 1908, as amended by the Government Railways Amendment Act, 1924, to make regulations providing for the classification of the Railways Department and prescribing scales of salaries and wages and increments thereto, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby make the additional regulations set out in the Schedule hereto.
SCHEDULE.
- (1.) THE Order in Council made under the Government Railways Act, 1908, on the 2nd day of March, 1925, and published in the Gazette of the 12th day of the same month, is hereby amended by revoking so much thereof as prescribes any rate of salary in excess of £765 per annum, or any annual increment to any such salary.
(2.) Any person who was on the 31st day of March, 1926, in receipt, pursuant to the said Order in Council, of a salary in excess of £765 per annum shall continue to be entitled to receive a salary at the same rate unless and until other provision is made in accordance with the next succeeding clause of these regulations. - Regulations made under the hereinbefore-recited Acts shall not provide for the payment to any member of the Department or in respect of any position of a salary in excess of £765 per annum, or for the payment of any increment to any salary in excess of that amount, but in respect of any position there may be paid such higher salary than £765 per annum as may be provided for in the annual estimates of the Department and appropriated by Parliament.

Amending the Apportionment of Representation on the Taranaki Electric-power Board, and fixing the Date of the First Election of a Representative of Portion of the Clifton County on the said Board.

At the Government House at Wellington, this 12th day of July, 1926.

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by the Electric-power Boards Act, 1925, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby amend the Order in Council determining the number of representatives of each constituent district on the Board of the Taranaki Electric-power District dated the eighth day of June, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-two, and published in the New Zealand Gazette No. 46, of the fifteenth day of June, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-two, by adding portion of the Clifton County to the constituent districts, and determining that such portion of county shall have one representative; and doth hereby fix the fourteenth day of August, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-six, as the date for the first election of the representative of the said portion of Clifton County.

Amending an Order in Council authorizing the Uawa County Council to erect Electric Lines in Portion of the Uawa County.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House at Wellington, this 12th day of July, 1926.

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred on him by the Public Works Amendment Act, 1911, and of every other power enabling him in that behalf, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby amend the Order in Council dated the fourteenth day of July, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-four, and published in the New Zealand Gazette No. 48, of the seventeenth day of July, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-four, authorizing the Uawa County Council to erect electric lines in portion of the Uawa County, by revoking clause 3 thereof (charges for electrical energy), and substituting therefor the following clause, viz. :-
“3. CHARGES FOR ELECTRICAL ENERGY.
“ The maximum charge for electrical energy shall not exceed 1s. 6d. per unit for lighting purposes, and 1s. per unit for motor-power, heating, or cooking purposes ; pro.
