A PROCLAMATION.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1908, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, I, General Sir Charles Fergusson, Baronet, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the additional land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for the purposes of a rifle range at Pelichet Bay; and I do also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the fifth day of August, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-six.

Revoking Part of a Proclamation proclaiming Land as a Road in Blocks III, Puketapu, and XV, Maungaharuru Survey Districts, Hawke's Bay County.

A PROCLAMATION.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the Land Act, 1924, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, I, General Sir Charles Fergusson, Baronet, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby revoke so much of the Proclamation dated the seventh day of June, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-four, and published in the New Zealand Gazette No. 40, of the twelfth day of June, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-four, proclaiming land as a road in Blocks III, Puketapu, and XV, Maungaharuru Survey Districts, Hawke’s Bay County, as affects the land described in the Schedule hereto, such land being no longer required.

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land not required: 1 acre 3 roods 22·9 preches, being portion of Section 1.

A PROCLAMATION.
BY virtue and in exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon me by section eighteen of the Forests Act, 1921–22, I, General Sir Charles Fergusson, Baronet, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby set apart the lands described in the Schedule hereto as a permanent State forest.
SCHEDULE.
AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT.—ROTORUA FOREST-CONSERVATION REGION.
Part State Forest No. 1 (Kaingaroa Plantation).
ALL that area, containing by admeasurement 7,620 acres, more or less, being portions of Runs Nos. 54 and 56, situated in Blocks III, IV, VII, VIII, XI, and XII, Kaingaroa Survey District, and bounded generally as follows: commencing at the most north-westerly point, towards the north by portion of Run No. 54, 5601·8 and 9519·4 links; towards the east by the aforementioned portion of Run No. 54 and portion of Run No. 56, 7183·4 and 31266·5 links; towards the south-east by State Forest No. 1 (Gazette, 1911, page 3567), 2891 links, towards the south by the Galatea Road; and towards the west by the aforementioned State Forest No. 1 and Run No. 55, 25875·6 and 18980 links, to the point of commencement.
Also all that area, containing by admeasurement 3,120 acres 3 roods 1 perch, situated in Block VIII, Paeroa Survey District, and Block V, Kaingaroa Survey District, and bounded generally as follows: towards the north and east by the Galatea Road; towards the south, south-east, and south-west by State Forest No. 1 (Gazette, 1922, page 2717), 17847·5, 6291·7, 9875·8 links; towards the north-west by Crown land (Waiotapu Plantation), 14145·1 links, to the point of commencement. Included in the latter area is a closed road situated in Block VIII, Paeroa Survey District, and Block V, Kaingaroa Survey District, containing 22 acres 1 rood 18·4 perches, closed by Proclamation dated 12th April, 1917 (Gazette, 1917, page 1316); a total area of 727 acres, being Paeroa East No. 1A East Section 2 and Paeroa East No. 2A Section 2B, situated in Block VIII, Paeroa Survey District, taken for forest-plantation purposes by Proclamation dated 15th June, 1911 (Gazette, 1911, page 1993); and an area of 310 acres 2 roods 26 perches (given as 312 acres), being Paeroa East No. 1B, situated in Block VIII, Paeroa Survey District, taken for forest-plantation purposes by Proclamation dated 21st January, 1921 (Gazette, 1921, page 189).
Also all that area of national-endowment land, containing by admeasurement 3,020 acres, more or less, being portion of Run No. 55, situated in Blocks II, III, V, VI, and VII, Kaingaroa Survey District, and bounded generally as follows: commencing on the northern boundary of State Forest No. 1 (Gazette, 1911, page 3567) at Te Rere Trig., and bounded towards the north by other portion of Run No. 55, 15464, 730·4, 1261·3, 1683·2, 2406·5, 375·5, 2311·2, 2486·8, 11843·7, 4739·5, and 2150 links; towards the east by Runs Nos. 54 and 56, 18980 links; and towards the west and south by the aforementioned State Forest No. 1,800 and 36184·5 links respectively, to the point of commencement.
As the same are more particularly delineated on plan No. 47/3, deposited in the Head Office of the State Forest Service at Wellington, and thereon bordered red.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 10th day of July, 1926.
