JULY 15.] THE NEW ZEALAND GAZETTE. 1917
WAIPUKURAU DISTRICT.
All that area in the Hawke's Bay Land District bounded on the north and east generally by the Waipawa Registration District (hereinbefore described) from the confluence of the Makaretu and Tukituki Rivers to the south-western corner of Block IX, Pourerere Survey District ; thence north-westerly along the south-western boundary of Blocks 55 and 48, situated in Blocks XII and XVI, Motuotaria Survey District, to the south-eastern corner of Block VII, Motuotaria Survey District; thence along the southern boundaries of Blocks VII, VI, and V of the aforesaid Motuotaria Survey District to the Ngahape Stream ; thence up the Ngahape Stream to its source; thence by the southern and western boundaries of Block VIII, Takapau Survey District, to the Maharakeke Stream; thence down the middle of the Maharakeke Stream to the Makaretu River, and down the Makaretu River to its confluence with the Tukituki River, the place of commencement.
PORANGAHAU DISTRICT.
All that area in the Hawke's Bay Land District bounded on the north generally by the Waipukurau and Waipawa Registration Districts (hereinbefore described) from the northwestern corner of Block XII, Takapau Survey District, to the sea-coast north of Blackhead; thence by the sea to a point in line with the southern boundary of Arataura No. 2 Block; thence to and along that boundary and along the southern boundary of Arataura No. 3, the south - western boundaries of Porangahau l of No. IA, Mangamairi B Block, Sections 7, Block I, Tautane Survey District, and 7E, Ngapaeruru Block, to the south-western corner of the last-mentioned block; thence along the northern boundaries of Blocks XII, XI, and X, Weber Survey District, to the north-western corner of the last-mentioned block; thence by a right line to the north-eastern corner of Section 3, Block VIII, Mangatoro Survey District; thence by a right line passing through Trig. Station 27 to the Mangapuaka Stream; thence by the Mangapuaka and Whangai and Turaekaitai Streams to the south-western corner of Block XII, Takapau Survey District; thence by the western boundary of Block XII aforesaid to the place of commencement.
And I hereby declare that this Proclamation shall come into operation on the sixteenth day of July, in the year of our Lord one thousand nine hundred and twenty-six.

Revoking the Setting-apart of Lands for Selection by Discharged Soldiers under Special Tenure in the Auckland Land District.

A PROCLAMATION.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon me by the Discharged Soldiers Settlement Act, 1915, I, General Sir Charles Fergusson, Baronet, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby revoke the Proclamation made on the eighteenth day of January, one thousand nine hundred and eighteen, and published in the Gazette of the twenty-fourth day of January, then instant, setting apart settlement lands for selection by discharged soldiers, under the discharged Soldiers Settlement Act, 1915, in so far as it relates to the lands in the Schedule hereto.

A PROCLAMATION.
WHEREAS Henry Scott Orbell, Charles Augustus La Roche, and Arthur Hay Maude were appointed to be trustees of the Oamaru Racecourse, under the provisions of an Ordinance of the Provincial Council of Otago intituled the Oamaru Racecourse Reserve Management Ordinance, 1870: And whereas the said Henry Scott Orbell and Charles Augustus La Roche have resigned their office as trustees and the said Arthur Hay Maude is deceased, and it is therefore necessary to appoint other persons to be trustees in the place of the said Henry Scott Orbell, Charles Augustus La Roche, and Arthur Hay Maude:
Now, therefore, I, General Sir Charles Fergusson, Baronet, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the aforesaid Ordinance and by section twenty-six of the Acts Interpretation Act, 1908, do hereby appoint
Michael Joseph Hannon,
Percy Cecil Hjorring, and
Robert Alexander McDowell,
of Oamaru, to be permanent trustees and members of the corporate body appointed under the said Oamaru Racecourse Reserve Management Ordinance, 1870, by the name and style of "The Trustees of the Oamaru Racecourse," in the place of the said Henry Scott Orbell, Charles Augustus La Roche, and Arthur Hay Maude.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 10th day of July, 1926.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by section twelve of the Land Act, 1924, I, General Sir Charles Fergusson, Baronet, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim as a road the land in the Maungatautari Survey District described in the Schedule hereto.

In the Auckland Land District; as the same are more particularly delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 21/112, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, under No. 2182, and thereon coloured as above mentioned.
