Citizens of the City of Wellington as from the date herein-after mentioned; and I do also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the twenty-eighth day of June, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-six.

SCHEDULE.

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land taken : 0Β·41 perches. Being portion of Lot 3, D.P. 1466, being part Sections 447 and 448, situated in the City of Wellington (Town of Wellington R.D.). (S.O. 2034.)

In the Wellington Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 66129, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, in the Wellington Land District, and thereon coloured red.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 11th day of June, 1926.

Land in Auckland Land District proclaimed as ceasing to be set apart as National-endowment Land.

A PROCLAMATION.

WHEREAS by section three hundred and two of the Land Act, 1924, it is enacted that the Governor-General may, by Proclamation approved in Executive Council, declare that any national-endowment land within the Hauraki Mining District held under a renewable lease issued under the Land Act, 1924, or any former Land Act, or held under a license issued under regulations made under the Land Act, 1892, or the corresponding regulations made under the Land Act, 1908, or the Land Act, 1924, for the occupation of pastoral lands within the said mining district, shall cease to be national-endowment land:

And whereas it is deemed expedient that the land mentioned in the Schedule hereto, which is held under a renewable lease as aforesaid, should cease to be national-endowment land.

Now, therefore, in pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities so conferred upon me by the aforesaid section three hundred and two, I, General Sir Charles Fergusson, Baronet, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, do hereby proclaim and declare that from and after the date hereof the land described in the Schedule hereto, which was set apart as national-endowment land under the provisions of section two hundred and fifty-eight of the Land Act, 1908, shall cease to be national-endowment land.

SCHEDULE.

AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT.-NATIONAL ENDOWMENT.-HAURAKI MINING DISTRICT.

SECTIONS 27 and 28, Block IV, Aroha Survey District : Area, 190 acres l rood ll perches.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 14th day of June, 1926.

Proclaiming Road-lines laid out through Subdivisions of the Motatau No. 5 Block, Motatau and Punakitere Survey Districts, North Auckland Land District, to be Public Roads.

A PROCLAMATION.

WHEREAS the parcels of land described in the Schedule hereto were, by orders of the Native Land Court made on the twenty-seventh day of June, one thousand nine hundred and thirteen, and the twenty-ninth day of January, one thousand nine hundred and fourteen, duly laid out as road-lines, in pursuance of section ten of the Native Land Amendment Act, 1912 :

And whereas by section two of the Native Land Amendment and Native Land Claims Adjustment Act, 1918, it is provided that where any road-line has heretofore been laid out under the said section ten and has not been proclaimed as a public road, then such road-line may be proclaimed as a public road under section forty-nine of the Native Land Amendment Act, 1913, subject, however, to the conditions prescribed by section fifty-one of the last-mentioned Act and section fifteen of the Native Land Amendment Act, 1914 :

And whereas the said Court is of the opinion that it is in the public interest that the said road-lines should be proclaimed as public roads, and a notification to that effect has been forwarded to the Minister of Lands, in terms of section fifty-one of the Native Land Amendment Act, 1913 :

And whereas one month's notice in writing of the intention to proclaim the said road-lines as public roads has been given by the Surveyor-General to the local authority of the district concerned, in terms of section fifteen of the Native Land Amendment Act, 1914 :

And whereas it is now expedient that the said road-lines should be proclaimed as public roads :

Now, therefore, I, General Sir Charles Fergusson, Baronet, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by section forty-nine of the Native Land Amendment Act, 1913, do hereby proclaim as public roads the road-lines described in the Schedule hereto.

IN pursuance and exercise of the power and authority conferred upon me by section three of the Deteriorated Lands Act, 1925, I, General Sir Charles Fergusson, Baronet, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare the lands described in the Schedule hereto to be subject to the provisions of the Deteriorated Lands Act, 1925.

SCHEDULE.

ALL that area in the North Auckland Land District, situated in the Counties of Hobson and Hokianga, and bounded as follows: Commencing at the north-western corner of Section l, Block XI, Waoku Survey District, towards the north by a forest reserve to and by Manawakaiaia or Whakatere Block to the Kohatutaka Block ; thence by the southern boundaries
