IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by section twelve of the Land Act, 1924, I, General Sir Charles Fergusson, Baronet, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim as closed the portion of road in Wataroa Survey District described in the Schedule hereto.

SCHEDULE.

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of road closed : 5 acres 2 roods 22 perches.
Adjoining or passing through Section 2374, situated in Block XV, Wataroa Survey District (Westland R.D.). (S.O. 2392.)

In the Westland Land District ; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 60767, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, in the Wellington Land District, and thereon coloured green.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor- General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 15th day of June, 1926.

A PROCLAMATION.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1908, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, I, General Sir Charles Fergusson, Baronet, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for the purposes of a Native school; and I do also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the second day of July, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-six.

SCHEDULE.

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land taken : 6 acres 2 roods 15 perches.
Being portion of Tokata 2B Block, situated in Block VIII, Matakaoa Survey District (Gisborne R.D.). (S.O. 1257, brown.)

In the Gisborne Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 65662, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, in the Wellington Land District, and thereon edged pink.
