A PROCLAMATION.
IN pursuance and exercise of the power and authority conferred upon me by section three of the Deteriorated Lands Act, 1925, I, General Sir Charles Fergusson, Baronet, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare the lands described in the Schedule hereto to be subject to the provisions of the Deteriorated Lands Act, 1925.

Amending a Proclamation dated 10th May, 1926, notifying His Majesty’s Assent to the Samoa (Shipping) Act, 1925.

A PROCLAMATION.
WHEREAS by a Proclamation dated the tenth day of May, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-six, it was notified that His Majesty had been pleased to assent to the Samoa (Shipping) Act, 1925 :
And whereas by the same Proclamation the first day of May, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-six, was specified as the date on which the said Act should come into operation :
And whereas it was not competent to fix as the date of the coming into operation of the said Act a date earlier than the date of the publication of the aforesaid Proclamation in the Gazette, and it is necessary accordingly that the Proclamation should be amended in that respect :
Now, therefore, I, General Sir Charles Fergusson, Baronet, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby amend the aforesaid Proclamation by substituting the first day of July, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-six, for the first day of May, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-six, as the date on which the Samoa (Shipping) Act, 1925 shall come into operation.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 29th day of May, 1926.

Abolishing the Warden’s Court at Karamea.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House at Wellington, this 28th day of May, 1926.
Present :
His Excellency the Governor-General in Council.
WHEREAS by section nine of the Mining Act, 1908, it is enacted that the Governor-General may from time to time, as he thinks fit, by Order in Council, constitute and appoint, in and for any one or more mining districts or portions thereof, such Warden’s Courts as he deems necessary and also may abolish any such Court :
And whereas it is desirable that the Warden’s Court at Karamea which was heretofore duly constituted under the provisions of the law for the time being in force, shall be abolished :
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the power and authority conferred on him by section nine of the Mining Act, 1908, and of every other power and authority enabling him in this behalf, and acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby abolish the Warden’s Court at Karamea.

At the Government House at Wellington, this 24th day of May, 1926.

His Excellency the Governor-General in Council.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in him by the Public Works Act, 1908, and of all other powers in anywise enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby order and declare that the portion of road described in the Schedule hereto shall, on and after the date of this Order in Council, become a county road.
