this behalf, I, General Sir Charles Fergusson, Baronet, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for the purposes of a public school, and shall vest in the Education Board of the District of Auckland as from the date hereinafter mentioned; and I do also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the fourteenth day of May, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-six.

SCHEDULE.
APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land taken: 8 acres 3 roods 1 perch.
Being part 1F 1B Taraiare, situated in Block XV, Omapere Survey District (Auckland R.D.). (S.O. 23337.)

In the North Auckland Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 64123, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, in the Wellington Land District, and thereon coloured red.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 27th day of May, 1926.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by section twelve of the Land Act, 1924, I, General Sir Charles Fergusson, Baronet, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim as a road the land in Tahoraiti Survey District described in the Schedule hereto.

Proclaiming a Road-line laid out through Subdivisions of the Waihou Lower A Block, North Auckland Land District, to be a Public Road.

A PROCLAMATION.

WHEREAS the parcels of land described in the Schedule hereto were, by orders of the Native Land Court made on the first day of August, one thousand nine hundred and twelve, and the first day of September, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-five, duly laid out as a road-line, in pursuance of section one hundred and seventeen of the Native Land Act, 1909, and section forty-eight of the Native Land Amendment Act, 1913:

And whereas by section two of the Native Land Amendment and Native Land Claims Adjustment Act, 1918, it is provided that where any road-line has heretofore been laid out under the said section one hundred and seventeen and has not been proclaimed as a public road, then such road-line may be proclaimed as a public road under section forty-eight of the Native Land Amendment Act, 1913, subject, however, to the conditions prescribed by section fifty-one of the last-mentioned Act and section fifteen of the Native Land Amendment Act, 1914:

And whereas the said Court is of the opinion that it is in the public interest that the said road-line should be proclaimed as a public road, and a notification to that effect has been forwarded to the Minister of Lands, in terms of section fifty-one of the Native Land Amendment Act, 1913:

And whereas one month’s notice in writing of the intention to proclaim the said road-line as a public road has been given by the Surveyor-General to the local authority of the district concerned, in terms of section fifteen of the Native Land Amendment Act, 1914:

And whereas it is now expedient that the said road-line should be proclaimed as a public road:

Now, therefore, I, General Sir Charles Fergusson, Baronet, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by section forty-eight of the Native Land Amendment Act, 1913, do hereby proclaim as a public road the road-line described in the Schedule hereto.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 26th day of May, 1926.
