SCHEDULE.
AREAS EXCLUDED FROM CITY OF WANGANUI.
ALL that area in the Wellington Land District bounded by a line commencing at a point on the high-water mark of the sea, and in line with the north-western boundary of Lot 2 shown on plan No. 2794, deposited in the office of the District Land Registrar at Wellington, and proceeding in a north-easterly direction by a right line bearing 56° 26′ to the south-western corner of Lot 2 aforesaid; thence south-easterly generally by right lines bearing 121° 23′, for a distance of 6550·24 links; bearing 120° 14′ 15″, for a distance of 106·75 links; and on a bearing of 145° 23′, for a distance of 499·3 links, to the northernmost corner of Lot 48 on plan No. 4913, deposited as aforesaid; thence towards the south-west generally by the north-western boundary of the land shown on the said plan No. 4913 to the north-eastern boundary of Lot 499 on plan No. 4912, deposited as aforesaid; thence towards the north-west by the north-eastern and north-western boundaries of the land shown on the said plan No. 4912 to the south-western corner of Lot 519 thereon; thence towards the south-east by the south-western boundary of the said Lot 519 to a point in line with the south-eastern boundary of Lot 457 on plan No. 3060, deposited as aforesaid; thence towards the south-west and again towards the north-west to and by the north-eastern boundaries of Lots 457, 458, 459, 460, and 461 on the said plan No. 3060 to the northernmost corner of the last-mentioned lot; then again towards the south-west by the north-western boundary of the said Lot 461, and the production thereof to the sea, and again towards the north-west by the high-water mark of the sea to the place of commencement.
Also all that area in the Wellington Land District bounded by a line commencing at a point on the north-eastern boundary of Lot 36 on plan No. 4242 deposited in the office of the District Land Registrar at Wellington, and being 50·5 links distant from the easternmost corner of the said Lot 36, proceeding thence in an easterly direction by right lines bearing 108° 31′, distance 354·25 links; bearing 112° 4′, distance 1886·4 links; bearing 104° 39′, distance 1932·9 links, to the Heads-Mosstown Road; thence in a south-westerly direction by the western side of the said road to the south-eastern corner of Lot 93 on plan No. 1863, deposited as aforesaid; thence towards the west generally by the northern boundary of the said Lot 93 to its intersection with the Town Belt Road, and by the said road to the easternmost corner of Lot 67 on plan No. 3943, deposited as aforesaid; thence towards the north-west by the north-eastern boundaries of Lots 67, 66, 65, 64, and 63 on the said plan No. 3943 and part of Lot 36 on the aforementioned plan No. 4242 to the place of commencement.

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.
WHEREAS in pursuance of section one hundred and thirty-two of the Municipal Corporations Act, 1920, a petition was presented to the Governor-General praying that a certain area should be excluded from the City of Wanganui and included in the County of Waitotara:
And whereas a Commission appointed under the said section held inquiries and recommended certain alterations of the said area:
And whereas it is deemed expedient to make the alteration of boundaries of the said city recommended by the said Commission and to declare to what riding of the said county such area shall be added:
Now, therefore, in pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in him by the Municipal Corporations Act, 1920, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby declare that as on and from the first day of June, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-six, the area described in the Schedule hereto shall be excluded from the City of Wanganui and included in the County of Waitotara, and, with the like advice and consent, doth hereby further declare that as on and from the aforesaid date the area included as aforesaid in the County of Waitotara shall be added to and from part of the Brunswick Riding of that county.
SCHEDULE.
AREA EXCLUDED FROM CITY OF WANGANUI.
ALL that area in the Wellington Land District bounded by a line commencing at the south-western corner of Original Section 228, right bank, Wanganui River, situated in Block III, Westmere Survey District, and proceeding thence in a north-easterly direction along the south-eastern boundaries of the said Section 228 and Sections 25A and 248 to Section 54, all of Block III aforesaid; thence easterly by the southern boundaries of the said Section 54 and Sections 53, 52, 51, land 50 to the north-western corner of Section 31, all of said Block III; thence southerly by the western boundary of the said Section 31 to a point opposite the southern boundary of Lot 8 on plan No. 2223, deposited in the office of the District Land Registrar at Wellington; thence westerly by a right line across a drain reserve to and by the said boundary of Lot 8, across Delhi Avenue, and by the southern boundary of Lot 4 on the aforesaid plan No. 2223 to its intersection with the eastern boundary of Aramoho Subdivision No. 8 on plan W.D. 1803; thence by a right line to the north-eastern corner of Aramoho Subdivision No. 5 on plan W.D. 1804; thence by the northern boundary-line of the said Subdivision No. 5 and Subdivision No. 3 to the north-western corner of the last-mentioned subdivision; thence by a right line to a point on the western boundary of the aforesaid Subdivision No. 8 in line with the northern boundaries of Lots 45, 43, 42, 41, 40, 38, 37, 36, 35, 34, 32, 31, 29, 28, and 26 as shown on Deeds plan 302; thence again towards the west by a right line to and by the said northern boundaries of the said lots and the production thereof to the north-eastern boundary of Lot 15 on the said Deeds plan 302; thence towards the north-west by the north-eastern boundaries of Lots 15, 14, and 13; and thence towards the south-west generally by the north-western boundary of the said Lot 13, the south-western boundaries of the said Lot 13 and Lot 14, by a right line across Roberts Avenue, and the north-western boundary of Lot 10, all on the aforesaid Deeds plan 302; thence towards the south-east by the south-western boundaries of the said Lot 10 and Lots 9, 8, 7, 5, 6, 4, and 3 to a point in line with the north-western boundary of the land shown on plan No. A/150, deposited as aforesaid; thence towards the south-west to and by the said boundary-line to the north-west corner of the aforesaid land; thence towards the north-west by the production of the south-western boundary-line of the land shown on the said plan A/150 for a distance of 300 links to the middle of Tutahiheka Stream; thence generally in a south-westerly direction along the middle-line of the said stream to its intersection with the south-western boundary-line of Original Section 24, right bank, Wanganui River, Block III, Westmere Survey District; and again towards the north-west by the said boundary-line to the south-western corner of Original Section 228, the place of commencement.

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.
WHEREAS, in accordance with the provisions of section three of the Land Drainage Act, 1908, a majority of the ratepayers in the area described in the First Schedule hereto, situated in the County of Waikato, have presented a petition to His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, praying that the land comprised in the said area be included in the Kirikiri roa Drainage District as constituted under the provisions of the said Act: And whereas it is expedient to alter the boundaries of such drainage district in manner hereinafter appearing:
Now, therefore, in pursuance and exercise of the power and authority contained in section three of the Land Drainage Act, 1908, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby alter the boundaries of the said Kirikiri roa Drainage District by including in such district the area of land described in the said petition and in the First Schedule hereto;
