be amended by adding the words “fully paid up” between the figures “33,300” and the words “shares of 10s. each.” And this Court doth further order that the reduction of the capital resolved and effected by the said entry as above amended be and the same is hereby confirmed. And this Court doth approve the following minute:—

“That the capital of C. L. NEILSEN AND COMPANY (LIMITED AND REDUCED) be reduced from £33,300 (divided into 33,300 fully paid-up shares of £1 each) to £16,650 (divided into 33,300 fully paid-up shares of 10s. each), such reduction to be effected by reducing the nominal amount of the shares from £1 to 10s. each.

“That the existing ordinary share certificates be cancelled and that new certificates be issued subject to clause 2 of the articles of association.”

And this Court doth further order that this order be produced to the Registrar of Companies, and that an office copy of this order be delivered to him. And this Court doth further order that notice of the registration of this order be published in the New Zealand Gazette. And this Court doth further order that the petitioning company be at liberty to discontinue the addition to its name of the words “and reduced” after the expiration of thirty (30) days from the date hereof.

THE WILSON MALT EXTRACT COMPANY (LIMITED)

IN LIQUIDATION.

THE following is a copy of a resolution passed at a meeting of the members of this company held on the 16th instant:—

“That, having regard to the provisional agreement of the 24th day of March, 1926, entered into by the company for the sale of the undertaking of this company to ALBERT ERNEST GASCOIGNE as trustee for and on behalf of a company being formed and to be called the DUNEDIN BREWERY AND WILSON MALT EXTRACT COMPANY (LIMITED), it is desirable to wind up the company, and accordingly that this company be wound up voluntarily; and that CHARLES ANDREW WILSON and EDWIN ALBERT PYRKE, Directors of this company, be and they are hereby appointed Liquidators for the purpose of such winding-up.”

AT a meeting of the shareholders of Messrs. MORLAND’S MOTORS (LIMITED) held on Wednesday, the 21st April, 1926, the following resolution was passed:—

WAIKATO COUNTY COUNCIL.

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE.

IN pursuance and in exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1913, and of all other powers (if any) it thereunto enabling, the Waikato County Council hereby resolves as follows:—

That, for the purpose of providing for the payment of interest, sinking fund, and other charges on the Waikato County Tauhei Special-rating District Loan of £4,000, 1926, authorized to be raised by the Waikato County Council under the above-mentioned Act, for the purpose of constructing and metalling certain roads in the Tauhei Special-rating District, Taupiri Riding, County of Waikato, the said Waikato County Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of one (1) penny and one-eighth (⅛) of a penny in the pound sterling on the rateable value (on the basis of the capital value) of all rateable property in the Tauhei Special-rating District, being described as follows:—

All that area in the County of Waikato bounded, commencing at the northern corner of part of Lot 5 on deposited plan 5276A, towards the east by the boundary of the Piako County to the south-eastern corner of Lot 5 on deposited plan 12436; thence towards the south by Lots 10 and 5 on deposited plan 55448A to the southern corner of Lot 6 on deposited plan 6566; thence towards the south-west by Lot 1 on deposited plan 6566 to the north-west corner of the aforesaid Lot 6; thence along the north-west boundary of the aforesaid Lot 6; thence by a road to the north-west corner of Lot 5 of 5 on deposited plan 11075; thence by the south-eastern boundary of Lot 4 of 5 on deposited plan 11075; thence towards the north by Lot 5 on deposited plan 6566 to the north-eastern corner of such Lot 5; thence towards the south and south-west by Lots 5 and 4 on the said deposited plan 6566, a line across a road, and by the land on deposited plan 3857 to the Mangatea Stream; thence towards the north by the Mangatea Stream to the south-west corner of the said first-mentioned Lot 5; thence towards the north by Lot 5 on deposited plan 4719A to the southern corner of part Lot 5 on deposited plan 4263A; thence by the said last-mentioned part of Lot 5 and part of Lot 5 on deposited plan 7615 to the commencing-point; all the said deposited plans being deposited in the Land Registry at Auckland, and numbered as aforesaid:

and that such special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable yearly on the 1st day of April in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of thirty-six and a half (36½) years, or until the loan is fully paid off.

MOUNT EDEN BOROUGH COUNCIL.

RESOLUTIONS MAKING SPECIAL RATES.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1913, the Mount Eden Borough Council hereby resolves as follows:—

Loan of £12,500.

That, for the purpose of providing the interest and other charges on a loan of £12,500, being ten per cent. on a loan of £125,000, authorized to be raised by the Mount Eden Borough Council under the above-mentioned Act, for the construction of Mount Eden Road and Dominion Road in concrete and the surfacing of side roads in bitumen, the Mount Eden Borough Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of one penny in the pound upon the rateable value of all rateable property in the Borough of Mount Eden; and that such special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable annually on the first day of April in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of 36½ years, or until the loan is fully paid off.

Loan of £800.

That, for the purpose of providing the interest and other charges on a loan of £800, being ten per cent. on a loan of £8,000, authorized to be raised by the Mount Eden Borough Council under the above-mentioned Act, for the provision of a fire station and the extension of the existing swimming-bath, the Mount Eden Borough Council hereby makes and levies a rate of one fathing in the pound upon the rateable value of all rateable property in the Borough of Mount Eden; and that such special rate shall be an annually-recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable annually on the first day of April in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of 36½ years, or until the loan is fully paid off.

Loan of £5,000.

That, for the purpose of providing the interest and other charges on a loan of £5,000, being ten per cent. on a loan of £50,000, authorized to be raised by the Mount Eden Borough Council under the above-mentioned Act, for the construction and improvement of roads and streets within the borough, the Mount Eden Borough Council hereby makes and levies a
