ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House at Wellington, this 23rd day of April 1926.
HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.
ON the recommendation of the Native Land Purchase Board, referred to in section three hundred and sixty-three of the Native Land Act, 1909, and in exercise of the power in this behalf conferred upon him by that section, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby prohibit, for the period of one year from the date of this Order in Council, all alienation of the Native land specified in the Schedule hereto other than alienation in favour of the Crown.

Vesting a Reserve in the Waimakariri River Trust.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House at Wellington, this 23rd day of April, 1926.
Present:
HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.
WHEREAS the land described in the Schedule hereto has been duly set apart for river-protection purposes: And whereas, in the opinion of the Governor-General, it is expedient to vest the said reserve in the Waimakariri River Trust:
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, and in exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon him by section four of the Public Reserves and Domains Act, 1908, doth hereby declare that, from and after the day of the date hereof, the reserve described in the Schedule hereto shall become vested in the Waimakariri River Trust, in trust, for river-protection purposes.

CANTERBURY LAND DISTRICT.
RESERVE 4135, Block IV, Rolleston Survey District: Area, 7 acres 1 rood 20 perches.

At the Government Buildings at Wellington, this 20th day of April, 1926.

THE RIGHT HONOURABLE J. G. COATES, P.C., PRESIDING IN COUNCIL.
WHEREAS by section four of the Fire Brigades Act, 1908 (hereinafter termed the said Act), it is provided that the Governor-General may by Order in Council, on the application of any Borough Council, declare the district within the jurisdiction of such Borough Council to be a fire district under the said Act:
And whereas an application has been made by the Wellington City Council in accordance with the provisions of the said Act, and it appears expedient to grant the said application:
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon him by the said Act, and acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby declare the City of Wellington to be a fire district under the said Act.
