Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-
General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued
under the Seal of that Dominion, this 20th day of

A PROCLAMATION.
BY virtue and in exercise of the powers and authorities
conferred upon me by section eighteen of the Forests
Act, 1921–22, I, General Sir Charles Fergusson, Baronet,
Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby
set apart the national-endowment land described in the
Schedule hereto as a provisional State forest.
SCHEDULE.
NELSON LAND DISTRICT.—NELSON-MARLBOROUGH FOREST-
CONSERVATION REGION.
Provisional State Forest No. 183.
ALL that area, containing 1,735 acres, more or less, situated
in Blocks I and II, Inangahua Survey District, commencing
at the north-west corner of Section 8, Block I, and bounded
towards the north generally by the northern boundary of
before-mentioned Section 8 and that boundary produced
easterly across a road and the Orikaka River; thence by the
eastern bank of the Orikaka River and across a road to Sec-
tion 14, Block I, along the northern boundary of Section 14;
across and along a road to Section 12, Block II; along the
north, south-east, and south-west boundary of such Section
12, and the north-west boundary of Section 11, Block I;
thence across a road, the River Orikaka, and a road to
Section 5, Block I; thence by the east and south-east
boundary of such Section 5 and the south-east, south-west,
and west boundary of Section 9, Block I, to a road; along
and across such road and along the western boundaries of
Sections 6, 7, and 8, Block I, to the point of commencement:
exclusive of roads and reserves which are within the above-
described boundaries, and excepting and reserving therefrom
such areas as may be required for the Westport–Inangahua
Railway.
As the same are more particularly delineated on plan
No. 113/3, deposited in the Head Office, State Forest Service,
at Wellington, and thereon bordered red.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-
General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued
under the Seal of that Dominion, this 23rd day of April,
1926.

Altering Representation of certain Districts on the New Plymouth Harbour Board and appointing the Principal Authority.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government Buildings at Wellington, this 20th day of
April, 1926.
Present:
THE RIGHT HONOURABLE J. G. COATES, P.C., PRESIDING IN
COUNCIL.
WHEREAS by the First Schedule of the Harbours Act,
1923 (hereinafter referred to as “the said Act”),
provision is made for the election of two members of the
New Plymouth Harbour Board by the electors of the com-
bined district of those parts of the Counties of Taranaki and
Egmont within the New Plymouth Harbour District:
And whereas a portion of Inglewood County is within the
Harbour District but provision is not made in the said Act
for representation of such portion on the New Plymouth
Harbour Board, and it is desirable to make such provision
and to appoint the principal authority for the purpose:
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of
the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of
the power and authority conferred upon him by sections
twenty-two, thirty-one, and two hundred and fifty-seven of
the said Act, and of all other powers and authorities enabling
him in that behalf, and acting by and with the advice and
consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth
hereby order and declare that two members of the New
Plymouth Harbour Board shall be elected by the electors of
the combined district of those parts of the Counties of Egmont,
Taranaki, and Inglewood within the New Plymouth Harbour
District, in lieu of two members by the electors of those parts
of the Counties of Egmont and Taranaki; and doth hereby
select and appoint the Taranaki County Council to be the
principal authority for the purpose of such election by the
electors of the said combined district as hereby altered.

Allocating Cost of certain Proceedings under Section 132 of the Municipal Corporations Act, 1920, Borough of Ohakune.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government Buildings at Wellington, this 20th day
of April, 1926.
Present:
THE RIGHT HONOURABLE J. G. COATES, P.C., PRESIDING IN
COUNCIL.
IN pursuance of the powers vested in him by section one
hundred and thirty-two of the Municipal Corporations
Act, 1920, and of every other power and authority enabling
him in this behalf, His Excellency the Governor-General of
the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice
and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion,
doth hereby direct that the Ohakune Borough Council and
the Waimarino County Council shall defray in equal propor-
tions all the costs of the Commission appointed under the
said Act by Warrants under the hand of His Excellency the
Governor-General dated the nineteenth day of September,
one thousand nine hundred and twenty-five, and the six-
teenth day of December, one thousand nine hundred and
twenty-five, to hold an inquiry and make a report on the
proposal to exclude an area from the Borough of Ohakune
and include such area in the County of Waimarino.

Amendment of Regulations under the Health Act, 1920, for the Protection of Persons employed in Lead Processes and in using Paint.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House at Wellington, this 23rd day of
April, 1926.
Present:
HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred on
him by the Health Act, 1920, and of all other powers
enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency the Governor-
General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with
the advice of the Executive Council of the said Dominion,
doth hereby amend in the following manner the regulations
made under the said Act on the twenty-seventh day of July,
one thousand nine hundred and twenty-five, and published in
Gazette Number 54, on the thirtieth day of the same month:—
(1.) Regulation 6 of the said regulations is hereby amended
by deleting the words “Leadpaint,” and substituting the
words “This paint contains lead.”
