NOTICE UNDER THE PUBLIC WORKS ACT, 1908. |

N OTICE is hereby given that the EDUCATION BOARD OF
THE DISTRICT OF HAWKE’S BAY intends to execute
a certain public work as hereinafter mentioned and to take
under the provisions of the Public Works Act, 1908, for the
use, convenience, and enjoyment of a public school, and
for an extension to the site of a public school, the following
lands, namely :—
(a.) All that parcel of land situate in the Borough of Gis-
borne, containing by admeasurement one rood
eight perches and fourteen one-hundredths of a
perch (0a. 1r. 08·14p.), more or less, being part of
Allotment 25A, Town of Gisborne, being all the land
comprised in certificate of title, Volume 42, folio 191,
Gisborne Registry, and being the whole of the land
edged pink on the plan hereinafter referred to, a
copy of which is also deposited in the office of the
Department of Lands and Survey at Gisborne under
Number 1254 (brown).
(b.) All that parcel of land situate in the Borough of Gis-
bourné containing three roods and four-tenths of
a perch (0a. 3r. 0·4p.), more or less, being part of
Allotment 25A, Town of Gisborne, being part of the
land comprised in certificate of title, Volume 9,
folio 83, Gisborne Registry, and being all the land
edged blue on the said plan.
Notice is further given that a plan of the lands so required
to be taken is deposited in the office of Messieurs Ball and
Crawshaw, Land Agents, Peel Street, Gisborne, and is open
for inspection by all persons during ordinary office hours.
All persons affected by the execution of the said public
work or by the taking of such lands, who have any well-
founded objections to the execution of the said public work or
to the taking of such lands, are hereby called upon to state
their objections in writing and send the same, within forty
days from the first publication of this notice, to the Education
Board of the District of Hawke’s Bay, at its office in Browning
Street, Napier, New Zealand.

Advertisement of Dissolution by Instrument.

N OTICE is hereby given that the Court Coromandel,
No. 5260, of the Ancient Order of Foresters, Friendly
Society, Register No. 88, held at Coromandel, is dissolved
by instrument registered at this office the 16th day of
April, 1926, unless, within three months from the date of the
Gazette in which this advertisement appears, proceedings be
commenced by a member or other person interested in or
having a claim on the funds of the society to set aside such
dissolution, and the same be set aside accordingly.
