County Fitzherbert Riding Loan of £2,000, 1926, authorized to be raised by the Kairanga County Council under the above-mentioned Act, for the purpose of building and renewing bridges and culverts in the Fitzherbert Riding, the said Kairanga County Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of two-thirtieths (2/30ths) of a penny in the pound sterling on the rateable value (on the basis of the unimproved value) of all rateable property in the whole of the Fitzherbert Riding the County of Kairanga ; and that such special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable yearly on the first day of April in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of twenty (20) years, or until the loan is fully paid off.

Taonui Riding Loan, £2,000.

That, for the purpose of providing for the payment of interest, sinking fund, and other charges on the Kairanga County Taonui Riding Loan of £2,000, 1926, authorized to be raised by the Kairanga County Council under the above-mentioned Act, for the purpose of building and renewing bridges and culverts in the Taonui Riding, the said Kairanga County Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of thirteen five-hundredths (13/500ths) of a penny in the pound sterling on the rateable value (on the basis of the unimproved value) of all rateable property in the whole of the Taonui Riding in the County of Kairanga ; and that such special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable yearly on the first day of April in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of twenty (20) years, or until the loan is fully paid off.

Manawatu Gorge Road Contribution Loan, £900.

That, for the purpose of providing for the payment of interest, sinking fund, and other charges on the Kairanga County Manawatu Gorge Road Contribution Loan of £900, 1925, authorized to be raised by the Kairanga County Council under the above-mentioned Act, for the purpose of completing contribution to the Manawatu Gorge Board of Control to finish the Gorge Road, the said Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of six one-thousandths (6/1000ths) of a penny in the pound sterling on the rateable value (on the basis of the unimproved value) of all rateable property in the whole of the County of Kairanga ; and that such special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable yearly on the first day of April in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of twenty (20) years, or until the loan is fully paid off.

OTAMATEA COUNTY COUNCIL.

SPECIAL ORDER MAKING BRIDGE RATE.

IN pursuance and in exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by section 23 of the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1913, and of all other Acts and powers (if any) it in that behalf enabling, the Otamatea County Council hereby resolves by way of special order as follows :—

That, for the purpose of providing for the interest, sinking fund, and other charges to secure the repayment of a loan or loans to be raised under the provisions of the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1913, for the purpose of providing funds for the reconstruction of bridges exceeding 20ft. in span on roads under the jurisdiction of the Council, the Otamatea County Council hereby makes and levies a bridge rate of one halfpenny (½d.) in the pound sterling on the rateable value (on the basis of the unimproved value) of all rateable property in the whole of the County of Otamatea authorized by a poll of ratepayers taken on the 12th day of February, 1925 ; and that such bridge rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of the loan or loans, and be payable yearly on the first day of July in each and every year during the currency of such loan or loans, or until such loan or loans are fully paid off.

TE KUITI BOROUGH COUNCIL.

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE.—£6,000 ABATTOIR LOAN.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1913, the Te Kuiti Borough Council hereby resolves as follows :—

That, for the purpose of providing the interest, sinking fund, and other charges on a special loan of £6,000, authorized to be raised by the Te Kuiti Borough Council under the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1913, and the Slaughtering and Inspection Act, 1908, for the establishment of an abattoir, the said Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of three-eighths of a penny (¾d.) in the pound upon the rateable unimproved value off all rateable property within the Borough of Te Kuiti ; such special rate to be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the above-mentioned loan, and to be payable half-yearly on the 1st day of February and August in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of twenty-five years, or until the loan is fully paid off.

That, for the purpose of providing the interest and other charges on a loan of £310, being 10 per cent. on a loan of £3,140, authorized to be raised by the Ostend Road Board under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of road-construction works, the Ostend Road Board hereby makes and levies a special rate of one-tenth of a penny in the pound upon the rateable value of all rateable property in the Ostend Road District ; and that such special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable yearly on the first day of April in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of 36½ years, or until the loan is fully paid off.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1913, and with the consent of the ratepayers of the Katikati Riding in the Tauranga County, the Council hereby resolves as follows :

That, for the purpose of providing the interest and other charges on a loan of £3,500 (three thousand five hundred pounds), authorized to be raised by the Tauranga County Council under the above-mentioned Act, for the purpose of regrading, culverting, and metalling portion of Katikati-Waihi Road from Tuapiro to county boundary and for purchasing machinery, tractor, and crusher, in the Katikati Riding of the County of Tauranga, the said Tauranga County Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of three-fourths of a penny (¾d.) in the pound sterling upon the rateable value (unimproved value) of all rateable property in the Katikati Riding, comprising the whole of the Katikati Riding of the said county, such riding being a legal subdivision of the County of Tauranga ; and that such special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of such special loan, and be payable yearly on the 18th day of February in each year and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of 36½ years, or until the loan is fully paid off.
