  1. Owhango Riding.—Commencing at a point on the Wanganui River at the junction of the northern boundary of Section 8 produced, and following the boundary of the Kaitieke County generally in a south-easterly direction to Tongariro Trig. Station; thence by a right line to Okupata Trig. Station; thence along the north-eastern and north-western boundaries of Tarewa No. 2B; thence by a straight line to the north-eastern corner of Waimarino E. Native Reserve, and following the northern boundary of that reserve to its junction with the Waimarino-Taumarunui Road; thence along the eastern side of that road to a point opposite the northern boundary of Section 4, Block VIII, Kaitieke Survey District; thence to and along the northern boundary of such Section 4 to its junction with Section 3, said Block VIII; and then up the eastern boundary of Section 3 to the boundary of Blocks IV and VIII, Kaitieke Survey District; thence following the boundary between Blocks IV and VIII, Kaitieke Survey District, to its junction with the north-eastern boundary of Section 9, Block VII, Kaitieke Survey District; thence along the south-western boundaries of Section 1, said Block IV, and Sections 18, 17, and 19, Block III, Kaitieke Survey District, and following in a westerly direction along the southern boundary of Sections 20, 11, 10, and 9, said Block III, and continuing along the southern boundaries of Sections 5 and 6, Block II, Kaitieke Survey District, to Trig. Station Te Porere; thence following the south-western boundary of Section 6, said Block II, crossing Kawautahi Valley Road and continuing along the southern boundary of Section 4, said Block II, to the middle of the Ohuha Stream Road; thence continuing up the middle of the Ohuha Stream Road to its junction with boundary of Sections 1 and 7, said Block II; thence along the southern boundary of said Section 1 and the eastern boundary of Section 6, Block I, Kaitieke Survey District; thence in a northerly direction along the western boundary of said Section 1 to its junction with the Pokatea-Kokakonui Road; thence along the southern boundary of such road and the northern boundaries of Sections 1 and 2, said Block II, to Wall Trig. Station; thence generally towards the east and north by the boundary of the Hunua Riding, hereinbefore described, to the commencing-point.

  2. Raurimu Riding.—Commencing at the south-western corner of Section 8, Block XIV, Kaitieke Survey District, and running in a north-westerly direction along the south-western boundaries of Sections 8, 7, 9, and 6, said Block XIV, to the north-western corner of said Section 6; thence in an easterly direction along the northern boundary of said Section 6 to the Retaruke River; thence in a northerly direction along the said river to the boundary-line between Section 1, Block XIV, Kaitieke Survey District, and Section 44, Block X, Kaitieke Survey District; thence in an easterly direction along the said boundary-line to the western boundary of the Retaruke Valley Road; thence in a northerly direction along the western boundary of such road to the southern boundary of Section 41, Block X, Kaitieke Survey District; thence in a westerly direction along such boundary to the Retaruke River; thence in a northerly direction along such river to the southernmost boundary of Section 2, Block IX, Kaitieke Survey District; thence in an easterly direction along such southernmost boundary produced to the middle of the Retaruke Valley Road; thence in a northerly direction by a line along the middle of the said road to a point produced from the northern boundary of Section 39, Block X, Kaitieke Survey District; thence in an easterly and southerly direction

along the northern and eastern boundaries of such Section 39 to the north-western corner of Section 40, Block X, Kaitieke Survey District; thence in an easterly and southerly direction along the northern and eastern boundaries of such Section 40 to a point on the western boundary of the Mangahoe Road produced from the south-eastern boundary of Section 38, Block X, Kaitieke Survey District; thence in a north-easterly direction along the south-eastern boundary of such section produced to the northern boundary of the Kaitieke Road; thence in a westerly direction along the northern boundary of such road to the south-eastern corner of Section 1, Block X, Kaitieke Survey District; thence in a northerly and westerly direction along the boundary of such Section 1 to the south-western corner of Section 2, Block VII, Kaitieke Survey District; thence in a northerly direction along the western boundary of such section produced to the middle of the No. 1 Oio Road; thence in a north-easterly direction by a line along the middle of such road to the south-western boundary of Section 1, Block VIII, Kaitieke Survey District; thence in a northerly direction up the western boundary of such Section 1 to the boundary of the Owhango Riding hereinbefore described; thence generally in a south-easterly direction by the boundary of such riding to the Tongariro Trig. Station; thence generally in a southerly direction along the eastern boundary of the Kaitieke County to the north-eastern corner of the Manganui Riding of the Kaitieke County as described in the New Zealand Gazette of 9th August, 1917, page 3185; and thence generally in a westerly direction along the northern boundary of such Manganui Riding to the commencing-point.

  1. Kirikau Riding.—Commencing at the confluence of the Waipahihi Stream with the Wanganui River, and following the Wanganui River in the direction of its source to the north-western corner of Section 4 (scenic reserve), Block III, Hunua Survey District; thence in a south-easterly direction along the south-western boundary of the Hunua Riding, hereinbefore described, to Trig. Station Wall; thence in a westerly direction along part of the western boundary of the Owhango Riding, hereinbefore described, to the north-western corner of Section 1, Block II, Kaitieke Survey District; thence by the western boundary of such Section 1, and the northern boundaries of Sections 6 and 1, Block I, Kaitieke Survey District, to the north-eastern corner of Section 2, Block VIII, Retaruke Survey District; thence generally in a south-westerly direction along the north-western boundary of such Section 2 produced to the middle of the Kokakoriki Road; thence in a southerly direction along the middle of such road and the Te Rata Road to the north-eastern boundary of Section 1, Block XI, Retaruke Survey District, produced to the middle of the said Te Rata Road; thence along the north-western boundary of such Section 1 to its extreme western corner; thence along the south-western boundary of Section 4, Block VII, Retaruke Survey District, to the Waipahihi Stream; thence in a south-westerly direction by such stream to the commencing-point.

THE following special order, made by the Waitomo County Council, is published in accordance with the provisions of the Counties Act, 1920.

Pursuant to section 100 of that Act, as amended by section 3 of the Counties Amendment Act, 1921–22, I hereby fix the 1st day of April, 1926, as the date from which the special order shall take effect.
