THE NEW ZEALAND GAZETTE.

and Tangitu Ridings of the said county by excluding from the Aria Riding, and including in the Tangitu Riding, Sections 25, 28, 31, and 37, Block I, Tangitu Survey District, and Sections 1, 2, 3, 4, 5; 6, 7, and 8, Block IV, Aria Survey District; and that the boundaries of the said riding be as follows :—
Aria Riding.—All that area in the Waitomo County bounded on the south by the county boundary; on the west by Mahoenui Riding as described in the New Zealand Gazette of 18th May, 1922, pages 1309 and 1310; on the north by the Paemako and Te Kuiti Ridings as described in the Gazette aforesaid, to Section 4, Block III, Mapara Survey District; thence by a line along the eastern boundaries of Rangitoto-Tuhua Nos. 72B 2, 72B 1B 1B, Sections 1s, 5s, 8s, and 12s, Block VII, Mapara Survey District, along the southern boundaries of Sections 12s and 11s, Block VII, Mapara Survey District; along the eastern boundaries of Section 1, Block VIII, Totoro Survey District, Section 3, Block XII, Totoro Survey District, Rangitoto-Tuhua 61J, 61J 6, and 61K; along the southern boundary of the last named block, along the eastern boundaries of Rangitoto-Tuhua 61P Section 1A, 61P Section 2B, 61D Section 2A, and 61D Section 2B; along the southern boundary of the last named block to the county boundary.
Tangitu Riding.—All that area in the Waitomo County bounded on the north by the Te Kuiti Riding as described in the Gazette aforesaid; on the north-east and south by the county boundary; and on the west by the Aria Riding hereinbefore described.
As requested by section 100 of the Counties Act, 1920, I hereby certify that the attached Schedule is a correct description of the proposed alterations of the Aria and Tangitu Ridings, Waitomo County, and are sufficient to render the new boundaries capable of identification, as indicated by coloured borders on litho submitted by the Waitomo County.—D. This special order was duly made at a special meeting of the Waitomo County Council held on Friday, the 12th day of February, 1926, and confirmed at a subsequent meeting of the Council held on Friday, the 12th day of March, 1926.

Notice respecting Proposed Alteration of Boundaries, Kirikiri roa Drainage District.
Department of Internal Affairs,
Wellington, 24th March, 1926.
IT is hereby notified that a petition has been presented to His Excellency the Governor-General, under the Land Drainage Act, 1908, praying that the area described in the Schedule hereto may be included in the Kirikiri roa Drainage District. All persons affected are hereby called upon to lodge any written objections to or petitions against the proposed alteration of boundaries which they desire to lodge within one month from the first publication of this notice, such objections or petitions to be addressed to the Minister of Internal Affairs, Wellington.
SCHEDULE.
AREA PROPOSED TO BE INCLUDED IN THE KIRIKIRIROA DRAINAGE DISTRICT.
ALL that area in the Auckland Land District bounded by a line commencing at a point in the middle of the Waikato River in line with the eastern boundary of Lot 5 of Allotment 133, Parish of Komakorau; thence northerly along that boundary to a public road; thence easterly along that road to its intersection with the road forming the western boundary of Allotment 81, Komakorau Parish; thence northerly along that road to the northernmost corner of the said Allotment 81; thence south-easterly along the north-eastern boundary of the said Allotment 81 to a public road; thence north-easterly along that road to the northernmost corner of Allotment 67, Komakorau Parish; thence south-easterly generally along the road forming the north-eastern boundary of the aforesaid Allotment 67 to the south-eastern corner of Allotment 5A; thence westerly generally along the road forming the southern boundary of the said Allotment 5A to the Waikato River; thence by a right line to the middle of the Waikato River, and by that river to the point of commencement.

Result of Poll for Proposed Loan.

THE following notice, received from the Chairman of the Board of the Helensville Town District, is published in accordance with the provisions of the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1913.

HELENSVILLE TOWN BOARD.
PURSUANT to section 12 of the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1913, I hereby give notice that at a poll of the ratepayers of the Helensville Town District taken on the 15th day of March, 1926, on the proposal of the Helensville Town Board to borrow the sum of £2,500 (the purposes for which the loan is required is—(1) completion of water-storage reservoir for the Helensville Town District, and (2) extension of water-main to such reservoir, and renewal of sundry waterpipes which form part of the water-main of the said town district),—
The number of votes recorded for the proposal was 107; the number of votes recorded against the proposal was 18. I therefore declare that the proposal was carried.

DARGAVILLE BOROUGH COUNCIL.
Loan of £12,000.
PURSUANT to section 12 of the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1913, I hereby give notice that at a poll of the ratepayers of the Borough of Dargaville taken on the 24th day of February, 1926, on the proposal of the Dargaville Borough Council to borrow the sum of £12,000 for the purpose of acquiring additional land, approximately 2,700 acres, for water-catchment area,—
The number of votes recorded for the proposal was 112; the number of votes recorded against the proposal was 78; informal, 4.
I therefore declare that the proposal was carried.
Loan of £1,250.
Pursuant to section 12 of the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1913, I hereby give notice that a poll of the ratepayers of the Borough of Dargaville taken on the 24th day of February, 1926, on the proposal to borrow the sum of £1,250 for the purpose of laying cast-iron water-mains, together with all necessary fittings and connections, under the footpaths in Victoria Street,—
The number of votes recorded for the proposal was 143; the number of votes recorded against the proposal was 49; informal, 2.
I therefore declare that the proposal was carried.

PURSUANT to section 12 of the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1913, I hereby give notice that at a poll of the ratepayers of the Papakura Town District taken on the 10th day of March, 1926, on the proposal of the Papakura Town Board to borrow the sum of £4,500 for the purpose of footpath-construction and purchase of roadmaking-machinery,—
The number of votes recorded for the proposal was 111; the number of votes recorded against the proposal was 106; I therefore declare that the proposal was carried.
Loan of £7,000.
Pursuant to section 12 of the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1913, I hereby give notice that at a poll of ratepayers of the Papakura Town District taken on the 10th day of March, 1926, on the proposal of the Papakura Town Board to borrow the sum of £7,000 for the purpose of constructing and metalling roads within the Papakura Town District,—
The number of votes recorded for the proposal was 86; the number of votes recorded against the proposal was 127. I therefore declare that the proposal was rejected.
