Reserve No. 4147, formerly part of Rural Section 2737,

bounded as follows : Commencing at a point on the west
side of the Prebbleton-Waimakariri Road and distant 1202·3
links from the south-east corner of Rural Section 2926;
towards the north-east by the said road, 700 links; towards
the south-east by a line, 857·2 links; towards the south-west
by a line parallel to the aforesaid road, 700 links; and
towards the north-west by a line parallel to the south-east
boundary, 857·2 links, to the point of commencement: be
all the aforesaid linkages more or less. As the same is more
particularly delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 1/158D,
deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and
Survey, at Wellington, and thereon bordered red.
Also all that area in the Canterbury Land District, con-
taining by admeasurement 5 acres, more or less, being
Reserve No. 4148, formerly part of Rural Section 1807,
situated in Block IX, Christchurch Survey District, and
bounded as follows : Towards the south-east by Rural
Section 1624, 650 links; towards the south-west by the
north-east side of School Road, 769·3 links; towards the
north-west by a line 650 links, parallel to the north-western
boundary of said Rural Section 1624; and towards the
north-east by a line 769·3 links parallel to the aforesaid
road. As the same is more particularly delineated on the
plan marked L. and S. 1/158E, deposited in the Head Office,
Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon
bordered red.

Extending Prohibition of Alienation of certain Native Lands
other than Alienation in favour of the Crown.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government Buildings at Wellington, this 10th day of
February, 1926.
Present:
THE RIGHT HONOURABLE J. G. COATES, P.C., PRESIDING IN
COUNCIL.
On the recommendation of the Native Land Purchase
Board, referred to in section three hundred and sixty-
three of the Native Land Act, 1909, and in exercise of the
power in this behalf conferred upon him by that section,
and by section one hundred and eleven of the Native Land
Amendment Act, 1913 (as amended by section eight of the
Native Land Amendment and Native Land Claims Adjust-
ment Act, 1916), His Excellency the Governor-General of
the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice
and consent of the Executive Council thereof, doth hereby
extend for a further period of eighteen months the Order
in Council dated the twenty-second day of September, one
thousand nine hundred and twenty-four, and gazetted the
twenty-fifth day of September, one thousand nine hundred
and twenty-four, prohibiting all alienation of the Native
lands specified in the Schedule hereto, other than alienation
in favour of the Crown.

WHEREAS by section three hundred and sixty-three of
the Native Land Act, 1909, it is enacted that any
Order in Council made under that section may at any time
be varied or revoked:
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of
the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise
of the power and authority hereinbefore mentioned, and
acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive
Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby revoke the Order
in Council referred to in the Schedule hereto.
SCHEDULE.
Order in Council under section 363 of the Native Land Act,
1909, dated the 23rd day of April, 1923, and published in
the New Zealand Gazette of the 3rd day of May, 1923, ex-
tended by Orders in Council dated 17th March, 1924, and 22nd
September, 1924, and published in the New Zealand Gazettes
of the 27th March, 1924, and 25th September, 1924, re-
spectively, affecting Tutukau East B No. 1 and other sub-
divisions.
