Apportionment of Property and Liabilities between the Bay
of Plenty and Opotiki Hospital Boards.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government Buildings at Wellington, this 10th day
of February, 1926.
Present:
THE RIGHT HONOURABLE J. G. COATES, P.C., PRESIDING IN
COUNCIL.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities
conferred upon him by section four of the Opotiki
Hospital District Act, 1924, His Excellency the Governor-
General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with
the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said
Dominion, doth hereby determine that the property, con-
tracts, debts, and liabilities as set out in the Schedule hereto,
being part of the property, contracts, debts, and liabilities of
the Bay of Plenty Hospital Board on the thirty-first day of
March, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-five, shall
become the property, contracts, debts, and liabilities of the
Opotiki Hospital Board.

Revoking Portion of an Order in Council declaring Public High-
ways to be Main Highways in the No. 18 Highway District.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government Buildings at Wellington, this 10th day of
February, 1926.
Present:
THE RIGHT HONOURABLE J. G. COATES, P.C., PRESIDING IN
COUNCIL.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities
vested in him by subsection three of section three of
the Main Highways Act, 1922, and of all other powers in
anywise enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency the Gover-
nor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and
with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the
said Dominion, doth, from the date of gazetting of this Order
in Council, hereby revoke the Order in Council dated the
ninth day of June, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-
four, published in the New Zealand Gazette No. 40, of the
twelfth day of June, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-
four, declaring public highways in the No. 18 Highway District
to be main highways, in so far as affects the McNab-Edievale
Road, as described in the Schedule thereto.

Consenting to the Raising of Loans by certain Local Authorities.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government Buildings at Wellington, this 10th day
of February, 1926.
Present:
THE RIGHT HONOURABLE J. G. COATES, P.C., PRESIDING IN
COUNCIL.
WHEREAS application has been made under section
twenty, subsection one, of the Finance Act, 1919,
for the precedent consent of the Governor-General in Council
to enable the several local authorities mentioned in the
Schedule hereto to borrow the sums set out therein, and it
is expedient that such consent should issue:
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of
the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice
and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion,
doth hereby consent to the raising of the loans hereinafter
mentioned by the several local authorities set out in the
Schedule hereto, and it is hereby declared that this Order in
Council is made under the provisions in that behalf of the
Finance Act, 1919, and shall operate accordingly as a consent
of the Governor-General in Council to the raising of the
said loans.

Feilding Borough Council (for the purpose of paying
the Council's contribution to the Manawatu Gorge
Board of Control)
Feilding Borough Council (for paying off the balance
of two loans)
Franklin County Council (for forming and metalling
Quinn Road)
Franklin County Council (for metalling Coast Road)
Franklin County Council (for forming and metalling
Taurangaruru Road)
Franklin County Council (for metalling Hall's Her-
mitage Road)
Franklin County Council (for metalling Geraghty's
Road)
Kaitieke Council Council (for contribution towards the
cost of constructing a bridge)
Otahuhu Borough Council (for drainage-works)
Otamatea County Council (for the reconstruction of
bridges)
Richmond Borough Council (for road-construction
and purchase of machinery)
Sumner Borough Council (for certain sewerage pur-
poses)
Masterton County Council (for the reconstruction of
bridges)
Makerua Drainage Board (for repayment of certain
loans)
Hauraki Plains County Council (for the construction
of certain roads)
Hauraki Plains County Council (for the construction
of a portion of the Waitakaruru-Maukoro Canal
Road)
Hauraki Plains County Council (for waterworks)
Wanganui City Council (for extension of and additions
to the existing gasworks)
Wanganui County Council (for metalling the Wangae-
hu Valley Road)
Waimairi County Council (for redeeming debentures
in respect of the Shirley Channelling Loan)
Waimairi County Council (for redeeming debentures
in respect of the Main Area Electric Lighting Loan)
Waitemata County Council (for constructing and
metalling roads in the Birkenhead Riding)
Waitemata County Council (for road-construction,
waterworks, bridge and culvert building, and
metalling roads in the Waikumete Riding)
Waitemata County Council (for the purchase of
plant, land, and buildings for public use in the
Kumeu Riding)
Hutt County Council (for the purpose of erecting a
public hall at Plimmerton)
Newmarket Borough Council (for street-improvement
purposes)
Taumarunui Borough Council (for paying the Coun-
cil's proportion of the cost of constructing a bridge
over the Ongarue River)
