And whereas it is deemed expedient that the land mentioned in the Schedule hereto which is so held on renewable lease under the Land Act, 1924, should cease to be national-endowment land:
Now, therefore, in pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities so conferred upon me by the aforesaid section, I, General Sir Charles Fergusson, Baronet, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, do hereby proclaim and declare that from and after the date of the gazetting hereof the land described in the Schedule hereto, which was set apart as national-endowment land under the provisions of section two hundred and fifty-eight of the Land Act, 1908, shall cease to be national-endowment land.

OTAGO LAND DISTRICT.
SECTION 17, Block VII, Tiger Hill Survey District: Area, 104 acres 2 roods 12 perches.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 10th day of February, 1926.

A PROCLAMATION.
I N pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon me by the Discharged Soldiers Settlement Act, 1915, I, General Sir Charles Fergusson, Baronet, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby revoke the Proclamation made on the sixteenth day of February, one thousand nine hundred and seventeen, and published in the Gazette of the twenty-second day of February, then instant, setting apart settlement lands for selection by discharged soldiers, under the Discharged Soldiers Settlement Act, 1915, in so far as it relates to the lands in the Schedule hereto.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon me by the Discharged Soldiers Settlement Act, 1915, I, General Sir Charles Fergusson, Baronet, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby revoke the Proclamation made on the first day of July, one thousand nine hundred and twenty, and published in the Gazette of the eighth day of July then instant, setting apart Crown land for selection by discharged soldiers, under the Discharged Soldiers Settlement Act, 1915, in so far as it relates to the land in the Schedule hereto.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by section twelve of the Land Act, 1924, I, General Sir Charles Fergusson, Baronet, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim as a road the land described in the First Schedule hereto; and also do hereby proclaim as closed the road described in the Second Schedule hereto.
FIRST SCHEDULE.
LAND PROCLAIMED AS A ROAD.
APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land proclaimed as a road: 17ยท8 perches.
Portion of Section 45, Tahora Township; coloured red.
SECOND SCHEDULE.
ROAD CLOSED.
APPROXIMATE area of the piece of road closed : 9ยท07 perches.
Adjoining Sections 45, 47, and 48, Tahora Township; coloured green.
All situated in Block VI, Pouatu Survey District.
All in the Taranaki Land District; as the same are more particularly delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 1/558, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, under No. 2164, and thereon coloured as above mentioned.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 15th day of February, 1926.
